Glad i bought these
These are great for the price going on over a year from the original purchase and i still am on the first bulb, I leave these bulbs on overnight in the summer and 24/7 in the winter for my hedgehog and it has yet to quit on me yet.

Last winter, when weather got cold, wanted to give my chickens some warmth at night.I used a regular heat lamp and they were scared to death of the light. Hoping these willnot scare them and they can benefit from the warmth on very cold nights.

It is really hot. It hurt my hand once!
it can produce enough heat! Since I’m in buffalo, it is still cold these days. My cat barely suffered in the cold situation because of this product!

Bigger than I thought. Ended up not using.
I'm sure that I would have liked them but I discovered that they are a lot bigger than I thought and stuck out enough to touch the metal screen. I just didn't like that. Unfortunately, It was passed the return time. I just want people to know. I still use the BYB flat ceramic heat emitters and I do like them.

so far, they seem to be a good value- nice even heat source with a large distribution area. Will see how well they hold up. I have them wired to a thermostat for use in bird brooders.

Burns out quick.
Less than One week of use and bulb failure. Thought it would last more than that. We'll see if the 2nd bulb can break the 1 week record.
