My husband loves his Whirly Pop ... and it does make good popcorn ... but it requires you to stand over the stove and spin the handle. It works great for him because he will eat that popcorn for DAYS, no matter how stale it gets.Me? I'd rather have a much smaller servings that are hot and fresh ... but I really don't like the bags of microwave popcorn that you can buy in the grocery store. The fat in them never tastes fresh, and it's impossible to pop all of the kernels.My new microwave popper solves that problem. It’s Good for What It Is—But Don’t Expect Stove-Top Perfection! Let’s be real, it’s a microwave popcorn maker, so no, it’s not replacing your classic on-the-stove version anytime soon. It gets the job done, though, and the popcorn tastes decent. The butter dripper on top is a clever idea, but oh boy, the cleanup is a chore. You pretty much have to wash this thing out after every single use, which isn’t ideal if you’re trying to make popcorn for more than one person.Sure, you could just keep popping multiple batches without cleaning, but let’s be honest, that’s probably not going to taste great with all the leftover gunk building up. Bottom line: it works, but be ready for some extra scrubbing!

This is so easy to do once you get your time and cooking power coordinated. It's clean, neat and does your everyday popping corn, doesn't have to be high priced. Easy to clean as well. I have the smaller size but it's enough for two. I cook on Hi for 3min 35sec . The trick is to take it out the minute it quits popping. Adding the butter by way of the lid is great. Almost returned it at first but once I got the timing right, I get great popcorn every time.

Saw this recommended in a listicle about the best microwave popcorn poppers, which warned potential users that it was only a single-serve popper. But that was just what I was looking for. It pops quickly and with very few, if any, unpopped kernels. After a few bowls of unbuttered popcorn, I finally tried putting some Country Crock spread in the lid (it's designed to put butter or margarine in the lid to drip upon the popped kernels), and while it took longer to pop, the result was delicious! And it's very easy to clean.

We have another microwave popcorn popper that we had for years. The bowl is constructed of some kind of plastic and ceramic blend, and the lid is a thick plastic with vented holes. Popcorn was perfect every time. But years of wear have taken their toll so it was time for a new one. What drew me to this popcorn popper was the style. It is unique and I liked the choice of colors. I chose blue. Most of my friends thought it was a microwaveable tea pot. It just might become one, because as a popcorn popper, it's not so great. I watched all the reviews, and out of all of them, only two mentioned that the popcorn might stick to the bottom and scorch and burn. No matter the minutes, we either wind up with burned popcorn or not all the kernels popping. I am not dissuading anyone from buying this popper, but I am not recommending it either.

I love using this for a popcorn snack! It is small so if you want to share popcorn you may need to make more than one batch. You can put it in the dishwasher but on the outside between the plastic and glass it doesn't get clean and need to hand wash that part, which is the only downside of this product. Makes delicious popcorn and making your own popcorn at home is a good healthy snack!

No complaints at all. Works well and makes good popcorn. The instructions way 2.5 to 3 mins but mine cooks in 1 min 50 seconds. I put the kernels in, add some butter salt, a couple sprays of avacado oil, mix and microwave.

Makes great pop-corn. I love that we can put butter on the cover. It melts on the pop-corn during the popping process and the pop-corn is soooooo delicious. 😋 It does deserve an absolute 5 stars. Perfect! 🥰
