Fixed my anxiety! Install is simple - read if you have trouble
Truly an impeccable product. I’m a college student with multiple roommates in a large house, and privacy is a big thing for me — this has been the perfect fix to ease anxiety and ensure my room is only my room.install was super easy. It fit directly on where my old doorknob was. Something to keep in mind is that there are two holes to screw the latch piece into the doorframe and it is essential that these work. My old doorknob didn’t require those holes, but thankfully they were already drilled.Definitely get new batteries for this - don’t use ones you’ve bought and had for a while. I had some new Duracell’s that I purchased last year, and they were not good for this for whatever reason. It was great to find out the low battery beeping function worked though!! A new pack worked perfectly. The first thing I did was turn off the beeping. It’s super loud, but a very quick fix.The Master and user passcodes worked well. ADVICE HERE: Be sure to follow the instructions in order when setting up a passcode. Meaning you will use the default master passcode to set up a user passcode and once you have a user passcode, then it’s best to change the master (it’s the instructions directly below the user).I was a bit worried at first when installing the hardware because the Little round latch thing that goes into the hole on the doorframe was turned the wrong way. All I had to do was remove both ends of the doorknob and then take out the middle piece, turn it the correct way, and then just push the two ends back together. The battery install isn’t required until the last portion so no need to rush through it. You will have to connect the power supply into the tiny white socket in order for the device to power on, so inserting the batteries alone won’t just start it up. The two manual keys worked great. The auto lock function is amazing but I think one of big pros is the passageway option where it operates as a regular door until that is turned off by pressing ANY key.I was skeptical the code portion would be overly tricky but the UX is genius. I was able to set up a custom code for one of my roommates in case there is an emergency, and removing that code would be super easy too if I ever wanted to restrict access after giving it out. Honestly this is an easy 5-stars.As for durability, it’s awesome. Someone would legit have to break the door down to get it off, and there isn’t a way to unscrew it from the lock side.As some have mentioned it is a bit bulky compared to the average doorknob. This didn’t bother me & I personally like it a bit excessive, but it is something to note bc it looks slightly funky and would be obvious that it’s not a normal knob.Coloring on the knob and items are great. High quality. They keypad isn’t constantly lit but pushing any button lights it up.Also something neat is being able to push a bunch of random buttons before entering the master code and AFTER it and the door will still open. This has allowed me to have the privacy of using my code in front of other people and them not knowing what it is because there are so many other numbers involved. You will have to hit the check mark button after you enter your code to get It to open for this function to be possible and just in general. Just typing in your number sequence at any point without hitting it won’t let you in. Gotta push the check mark. The auto lock is nice because I don’t have to manually turn something every time, which sounds like common sense but it is a nice transition and peace of mind so I’m never forgetting to lock it.How the lock works is essentially when it is locked, turning the outside knob doesn’t move the Latch piece connecting the door to the doorframe. When the code is entered and approved, turning the doorknob will turn the latch like a normal door would. The opposite side always turns the latch as one would hope.I don’t know why this item is at the price point it is. I’m guessing because of the bulkiness, but I wish I would have made this purchase way sooner.

Great Lock
If you have any mechanical wit or have some familiarity with installing door locks, you will find this lock is easy to install. It's just like any other door lock install. The "snych" feature will allow for both sides of the combo lock to work independently(different combo codes) or together. The lock did not work the first time around (the combo #s I entered would not synch to the other side of the door), even tho the synch button was in the right position, so I just removed the batteries, hit the reset button for both sides of the lock, re-installed the batteries and it worked like a charm. You can set the auto door re-lock to 4 seconds or up to several hours. Not sure why you need combinations on both sides, but with the auto lock delay, this sort of takes care of that issue. This has only been on my door for two days, but so far so good. The lock feels and looks durable/solid.

Keeps kids out
It works really well, we use it to keep the kids out of the spare room. It seems pretty secure for other people as well and it looks nice. Having the numbers light up really helps see what numbers you're pushing at night. The locking sound isn't that loud and the instructions being inside the back handle makes it easy to remember how to do things without having to keep the paper around.

Nice but very large
Sticks out much further than standard doorknobs. Looks imposing and tough. Easy to install and operate. Just very large, especially when the door opens up to a wall.

No instruction No Manual (got locked out and had to pay $100 locksmith)
I don’t usually write bad reviews because I don’t like to waste my time but I have to do it for this product. The box didn’t come with any instruction paper or manual paper. I had to google for instructions but nothing seems to work. I was not able to set up a code or anything because there is NO INSTRUCTION. I had to go outside to grab something and I closed the door by accident(just closed the door and I didn’t lock it or anything) and I got locked out. Before I went outside, I twisted the doorknob from outside and inside and the lock seems fine. Somehow it auto locked when I went outside. I had to pay $100 for a locksmith. I would not be mad if the product comes with instructions for me to set up code but it didn’t come and it auto locked. And I HAD TO PAY $100 for their mistake.

Great buy!
My mom have Dementia. She likes to go in my room and takes my jewelry, money and pretty much anything that caught her eyes. I have a lock on my door. It's so irritating that I have to use a key to unlock my door all day. I'm also really bad keeping track of my key. So I decided to change my doorknob. This doorknob it's so great! All you have to do its punched in your code. I don't have to worry about a key. It's works great! Easy to installed and easy to used. Peace of mind that nothing will be missing.

Well made with clear instructions
Very impressed with this product. Looks great, sturdy, and well designed with wires that don’t interfere with the installation screws (unlike some other smart locks). Clear and detailed instructions with multiple “idiot-proofing” back-ups like “this side up.” Even has a back-up summary of how to add and change access codes INSIDE the battery cover. Bought two more, so far all working perfectly, hope they last.

Great auto locking door knob
Very easy to install, the actual buttons make it so easy to use. The back light turns on when you touch any key, knob with the grip opens well and is not slippery when wet. Comes with rubber weather seals which I put one on for the outside side. Biggest reason I am leaving a review is I have been through two other similar handles from other companies and the touch screens failed within a week. They get hot and cold and do not work well or even at all. Same thing with the finger print option when it got wet. All of them weather rated but it got annoying to deal with. This handle is simple and works which I am grateful for so I wanted to leave a positive review for others looking for smart door knob options.

Complete Unbias Review
This doorknob matched what I was looking for. However, there are a few tips and observations I would like to share.Installation: 20-30 minutes. Pretty easy.I read some other reviews and quite frankly, unless you're including (and shouldn't) any modifications you had to make to the door's hole to accomodate - the actual installation of the doorknob and all parts is fairly easy. It does require a bit of patience, but really was again, quite easy.I _did_ have to and struggled with making the doorknob hole in my closet door larger, only for lack of proper tools. Yet I still managed to do it myself, again with a little patience and determination.Using the doorknob/lock: Easy enough to program.Changed the default master code no problem. Was able to test both 'Easy Passage' and 'Advanced Easy Passage' mode successfully without any troubles.Setup my first 'User Code' as my day to day code - check.Tested the 'Password Disguise' feature successfully as well. This essentially would be used whenever someone is in sight of you entering the code. Instead of an ackward 'could you step away so I can enter the code' or equivalent, you can simply enter any number and sequence of digits before and/or after a REAL code. For example. If I have a code set '1221' and enter 222244444333353543433212212343242342' it would work as a valid user code can be found in the sequence. Any combination up to 40 digits containing a valid user code will work. I find that very usefull if understood properly and thus used in appropriate situations. Huge plus. This next point is HUGE in my opinion. There was at least one reviewer rightfu;;y sharing the doorknob is flawed; if you enter in sequence all the numbers from 1 through 0, then the check - the door opens.I was horrified because its true.>>>>>> BUT <<<<<<IT guy that I am immediately started analyzing by testing and comparing. Here's what I found and how I remedied 100%.I am not sure if that above sequence and maybe some others are 'backdoor' or 'default' codes put in, or poorly/undocumented ones - but - as the instructions indicate, any code CAN be deleted. Right? So I started with the first one. I found there were otheres, but its not too hard to find and delete them. And yes - deleting them works. For example:I think there was 1 by itself. Then 1-2. And also 1-2-3. (always finished with the check). The only way my horror was COMPLETELY relieved was the fact that deleting whatever I found - actually WORKED.I have not found any other combinations that I haven't set that work AFTER I deleted them. So, take the time to test the above and make sure to clean out any unwanted user codes.A few reviewers also commented and I tested this with my son so I can confirm 100%, from the 'inside' you cannot open the lock. And yeah, unless you know what you're doing, you need to be careful not to lock yourself inside! (or outside - but I realize that this is not a practical use for the doorknob. Since it doesn't have a way (that I found) to at least toggle this aspect. (hint to Bothstar). However, for a closet, or room that you want to have only one way access - this is perfect. Think about your safe and valuables in your closet or room (if door format supports it). Basically in that context my recommendation is that when you are present - put it in ADVANCED EASY PASSAGE. When away - turn that off. Be it a closet door or a room door context - that makes sense 100%.But even if someone actually gets locked in without your knowledge, its probably something you should be worried about (like they waited to slip in before the door closed, which franky would be hard to happen)But for fun and context, lets just say this is a tools closet at a store or business. Or a studio/photography/purpose room that you don't want to give access to.Maybe some ingenious thieves WOULD try to devise a way to get inside before the door closes.Again, like only if they're leet as peter flippin' pan?! So lets humor that. Now they're locked in. Lets just say they manage to get the cover off, and remove the batteries, pull the plug, etc.... the doorknob will remain locked.Sure, with sufficient brute force I'm certain the lock could be broken and the door forced - but that's any door and you hope you have more layers of security in this context to prevent that from happening - i.e. cameras overlooking the use/access of the door in question. And if someone is able to figure the code out without your knowledge, then you need to review how you're safekeeping this info (if) and how you use the doorknob. For me, I am using it for a walkin closet where I have items that I would prefer to keep physically seperate and secured in general (safe and valubles, NAS/NVR, tools, etc). Its everything I hoped for.My only concern, really, is actually from yet again, some reviewers seem to say that they doorknobs are or can become faulty and stop working. I'm hoping that is just bad luck and/or maybe a little poor understanding of the way the doorknob works and how it can be used effectively.Ok, it could come with some better, complete instructions but for me that isn't an issue as I was able to find sufficient instruction searching on the web. Also it is about a third bigger maybe than a normal doorknob and more a donut then knob. Doornut? lol Still, its super stylish and contemporary (i got the black one). Finally, it is a well made, solid product.Would recommend 100%

Lock failed after less than six months, no response from seller and manif won't honor the warranty
After less than six months of use, the lock failed. Since we are in Canada the manifacturer says it won't uphold the warranty, and the responsability is on the seller. The seller hasn't responded to several emails. You should avoid both of them and look elsewhere. Would give ZERO stars.
