Dressing stick
Thank goodness for this item my husband had a stroke and left him very weak down his right side he struggled to get his clothes over and off the top of his head but with the dressing stick as an aid he can do it himself now no bother so thank goodness for items li,e this also as an added bonus it has a shoehorn at the bottom that also helps well worth the money

... end can bend and break (especially trying to get super skinny jeans off
I've been using dressing sticks for years but have found that the hook end can bend and break (especially trying to get super skinny jeans off!) so I was looking for something a lot sturdier. This is a lot sturdier but I've found it to be a lot less useful. It's several inches shorter than other sticks so it is difficult to pull things up from foot level without a lot of bending, which begins to defeat the purpose of it for me. The shoe horn on one end seems like a good idea but if you're using the hook end, you're having to grip the shoe horn end to push/pull which is quite uncomfortable. The idea of having a dual purpose stick is a good one and it is solid, but the usability is reduced as a result.

A Disappointment
I bought this to help me pull up a pair of Chelsea Boots with a small tag/ loop at the back. The hook on the shoehorn was too thick to fit through it and too thick for most loops, other than really large ones.

Good buy
I bought this as I was having a hip replacement and you can't bend down for a few weeks post operation. It has Been very useful and I would recommend it.

Could have been Stronger.
Chose this as it was an Age UK product. Not disappointed, but for some things it could have been stronger. (I have a metal NHS one which does all sorts - even reaching the car boot closing handle!)
