:)I have been always into using natural beauty products. I have tried sea sponges, washcloths, etc but so far I was not thrilled with any of them. Sea sponges and washcloths were too harsh on my face, and my hands just don’t really clean or exfoliate.From the time I read about this konjac sponge I got excited and decided to give it a try. I am glad I did ! It comes in dry form, you need to soak in the water until it expands, it takes a minute or two. Then it gets really soft and bubbly. I squeeze the excess water out and gently clean my face. It’s water-drop shape is great for cleaning around my eyes as well. My skin gets really soft and clean. Finally found a product that is natural and also does the job well. Oh also there is no bad smell like the other product reviews I read about, this one is odor free.

This was my first time using a konjac sponge. At first, I was hesitant to try it but reading an article about konjac sponges I decided to give it a try. When you first open the package the sponge is dry and you need to soak it in the water a couple minutes before using it. After soaking it expands and gets heavier with water in it. It fits the palm of my hand and with its water-drop shape it gives me the ability to apply it to smaller and larger areas of my face using its edges or tip. I love the texture after it gets soaked, its soft but yet great to exfoliate my face and around my eyes. I wanted something that is soft enough which would not scratch my face but also exfoliates effectively. This is exactly what I needed to use daily. Absolutely love it!

I recently started a Curology regimen and an article of theirs recommended this sponge as a non-irritating exfoliator. One of my largest active skin issues is redness and inflammation, so aggressive exfoliation (like sugar scrubs or coffee scrubs) have never worked for me.I made sure to feel my skin for the texture before I used the sponge so I could compare. There was a noticeable difference. Skin was smoother! Also when I used my toner afterwards, there seemed to be less resistance than usual from my skin with the cotton ball! I can only assume it’s because it cleansed & exfoliated so well.Arrived three days early. I have already bought 4 more as gifts, and plan to buy a couple for me as back ups! 🤗

I have combination skin that leans towards oily because I’m prone to breakouts and clogged pores. I’ve heard about konjac sponges for a while now but couldn’t get my mind around how it could work for me when I’ve tried just about everything else to normalize my skin. Well to my surprise this little guy is working. My skin flaked a little for the first 2-3 days but then it gave way to fresh, clean skin. I do wear makeup so I find that it keeps pimples from forming around my acne prone chin area. The pores in that area and in my cheeks are starting to shrink too! I also love it’s shape and slight contour which makes it easy to use in the folds of the nose. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

This sponge is OK, probably not the best. Four stars because it gets the job done and feels very durable. Not giving 5 stars because I think it’s sort of flat in shape and that’s not as desirable as the more bulbous ones. The fuller ones that are more spherical are easier to hold on to and better handled. It feels like a compromise though- I feel like another eco friendly brand I’ve gotten from Whole Foods (the one that was more bulbous) detioriated and needed replacing more quickly.

Great sponges, they come dry and small. As soon as you add water they puff up to almost double their size and get soft. I read other reviews saying they aren’t hard enough to use for scrubbing/ exfoliating and I can see what they mean. But I didn’t mind them being soft due to the fact that your face has sensitive skin(simply drying your face with a towel must be patted dry). The softness is perfect for me but it isn’t too soft to where it’s not effective, my face is soft afterwards. I hang dry it for the next use. So far I’ve used it about 4 times and it’s held up.

I bought this as a substitute for a more expensive konjac sponge I used. I have so far bought two and am currently using the second. The first held up for duration you are supposed to keep it for ( two months) after that your supposed to get rid of it do to germs, lots of dead skin cells, things like that. This is a great product that holds up and does what its supposed to. It keeps my skin clear when I was having a problem with adult acne and when I start breaking out again I know it's about time to get a new one. Again, great product. Also, I love the company's customer service team, they made me laugh in the emails I got from them after I bought the product. They're actually the only reason I wrote this review because they made me laugh. Great product and company. Will definitely keep buying.

Compared with another brand’s konjac sponge, this one held up very well for a few weeks. However, I went out of town for several days and the sponge completely dried out. After that, it never plumped up again and just felt apart when I tried to use it. I’m willing to try again with this sponge and will make sure to not let it dry out.
