Lovely translation and a lovely feel about it
I love the soft cover. The bible is fabulous as a book and this translation is supposed to be one of the better ones. I actually love the translation very much in my first few days of reading it. The book itself is a great size. It is easy to read, very comfortable to hold, it looks super with its embossed cross on the front and my journeys through the OT and the Gospel are very pleasurable. An excellent value for money bible which is already a firm favourite in my life

Ticks almost all the boxes
As a translation, I've always found the NASB too stodgy, with no flow. This new (optional) update, however, takes some paraphrasing liberties, but is vastly improved in its readability. As always, however, the reference edition contains a multitude of pettifogging literal translations & alternatives, which can be quite distracting. It's excellent to have a single-column verse by verse layout, but I'm not sure it qualifies as 'wide margin'; the paper is excellent, but really too thin for serious notes. I find this Bible just slightly too thick & too heavy to hold comfortably in one hand. Finally, It's taking me a while to get used to having a 'topical index' instead of a concordance, but I'm starting to warm to it! Having said all that, I wouldn't be without this Bible, although I do use the non-reference verse by verse red letter more, particularly when out and about.

Great size and quality bible. Will fit in a handbag.
I bought this as a gift for a Polish woman at my bible study. Very nice quality in my favourite translation. Nasb is considered to be the most reliable modern translation of the original Greek and Hebrew text.

Not enough information.
Although it was easy to read and compact enough to slip into my pocket, I was disapointed with the lack of suplimentary information ei no referance for other similar passages and the concordance limited. Not realy suitable for the serious student, more for following the inchurch readings.

Very presentable Bible with a nice cover small enough to slip into a handbag
Very presentable Bible with a nice cover small enough to slip into a handbag. The text is 9 pt and I expected the text to be larger. If you want it more than this go for an extra large print. It is easy to read because the script goes right across the page, as opposed to some bibles where there are 2 columns.I gave it to my daughter for Christmas and she was delighted.

Nice One-column Bible in Paragraph Form
This is not as compact as I would have liked, but it has other important features that I wanted more. I wanted paragraph form so it reads like the story it is, it has a sturdy cover (not real leather as stated), and I like the red lettering for the words of Yeshua. The NASB is a fairly reliable translation, so this will be nice when traveling. I wanted a snap closure, but I can always make/buy a cover for it.

Great text format, super smooth paper!
This is a review of the Lockman’s NASB2020 Wide Margin Reference Bible in red leathertex.I like the single-column verse by verse format which is quite rare for bibles. It makes reading less distracting than the double-column paragraph format (because of the verse numbers mingling with the text). It is also great that the references are at the bottom rather than at the side or centre, so that the focus is on the bible text itself. References should be secondary and so be out of the way. I wish they make references for each bible (with page numbers pointing to the bible) on a separate booklet, so the bible will not be that big and heavy. The next awesome thing about this Korean printed bible (not all Lockman’s NASB2020 is Korean printed). This is the first non-premium bible with paper that reminds me of the super smooth paper Cambridge uses on the Clarion goatskin bible. I compared the two side by side and find them almost the same, the Clarion is perhaps a little more creamy in colour and just a little smoother(?). The opacity is also quite good. Ghosting is for sure present but you can only see a shade, which is quite good. The leathertex cover is also different from the older Lockman’s leathertex which was stiff and thin. This newer leathertex has a really nice grain that truly imitates leather and is smooth (soft) and thicker. The lining inside the cover is also vinyl and not paper. As such, the materials used are fantastic for the price.Update: Due to diluted glue or some reason, some edges of the vinyl liner are coming off. But this is nothing that cannot be fixed with a little Uhu glue for an awesome Bible.

my gem
It looks great and feels great. The golden edges of the pages are gorgeous. The NASB is my preferred version, with red letters as an extra. I would enjoy reading my Bible. Thanks Amazon!

Larger large print would have been nice.
I do like the paragraph formatting it is readable but could be a bit larger for a large print bible. I guess I missed the "compact" in the description.
