I LOVE it! I no longer have to carry clothes from the dryer and set up/take down a space wasting ironing board. After immobilizing a shelf that sits on pegs, I installed mine on a pantry shelf in my laundry room next to the dryer. Clothes now go directly from the dryer to be ironed. Since it's right next to the dryer, clothes get ironed immediately and there's no temptation to let clothes pile up for days before ironing. I looked at different styles and designs of hideaway ironing boards and think this is the most well designed system. Because it slides out on is track before unfolding, it only requires a few inches of top clearance space! Installation was easy and intuitive. I wish I had discovered this years ago. Highly recommend this product. It's priceless! I think one reviewer complained that the board collapsed in the middle when unfolded. Be aware that there is a center supporting rail that you must slide out before unfolding the board and it keeps the board solid. Note the center support in the photo.

I bought this as an addition to my closet remodel. The closet now looks great, but the best part is the ironing board functionality. In fact best part of my closet is this ironing board. Great idea, great product, quality build, 100 times sturdier than the fold-out ironing board I had.Almost a year later...I use it every day, and I love it! This ‘hide away’ ironing board is perfect for our use. It tucks neatly away and pulls out when needed. It’s sturdy, easy to iron on, and adjusts to various angles.

LIKE: this ironing board is sturdy and well constructed. If you have open wardrobe or with full height, it would fit well.DISLIKE: Incomplete description. I installed it inside an under-counter wardrobe cabinet with doors and followed clearance height of 6" under the opening, (8 inch under countertop). It turned out the slides are 2 inch too short to allow the board to swing open without hitting countertop standard overhang clearance. to clear it, i would have to mount the unit 12 inch under the countertop with this short slide. If i do that, the working height is just 28 inch, too low for even very short people.

The ironing board is made in China and is sold under a dozen different names on Amazon and other sites. It's the same ironing board if it has the stainless steel stop in the middle of the folded end. So don't pay more than you have to for the same ironing board.The parts in this ironing board are very high quality. Everything was done well.Unfortunately, the quality control at the manufacturer isn't in the same class. The install shouldn't have taken more than 30 minutes or so, but a rivet was broken and a screw fell out when I unpacked it. The rivet kept the nylon pivot in place that supports the round plate that allows the ironing board to turn. I had to replace the rivet with a machine screw, washers and nut. To do that, I had to take the base plate off which required removing the cover.To replace the pivot and the screw that had fallen out took 30 to 45 minutes. Fortunately, I had the parts here to do it. Once those were replaced the ironing board worked well.There is absolutely no reason for those parts to fail. They weren't put in properly and weren't checked after installation.I don't know how many of these boards have that problem, but if yours does, plan on spending some quality time with it to fix the issues. Your quality time replaces the factory's time they should have spent on quality control.

This is great for what it is: a small ironing board for craft or laundry room for quick touch-ups. As the board is solid wood (rather than a metal mesh), it does not play well with steam irons or damp items (see photo). The pull-out tracks are not long enough for the back of the board to clear the frame of a cabinet in order to pivot and/or allow easy access of the back of the board. Because the shelves of my cabinet end about 1.5” from the opening of the cabinet, I was pretty sure that the board would not be able to pivot, even though it’s mounted at the very front of the shelf, and the board itself protrudes past the edge of the shelf. There are not-really-useful instructions in English (see photo); what would have been more useful would have been a screw-placement template in any language. My advice: remember to make yourself a template so you can place the pilot holes correctly, and don’t forget to anchor any shelf to which you mount this board.

It’s easy to fold and operate and easy to install, works great. one thing the screws that come with it will not be enough, so you will need to get larger screws so it is sturdier.
