Could be improved
The running boards them selves were well made and fairly easy to install. That said the driver side unit comes with 2 support brackets the van has 3 mount positions and the step would be much more stable with all 3 and I would have gladly paid extra for it if it was offered. As for the passenger side unit it could use one more also and there are extra mount positions for it but with the weight load spread put over a longer span it is more stable. And if you are wondering I am 240 lbs

Great quality
I got these for a Ram Promaster and they were relatively easy to install and very sturdy!

Not The Sturdiest
I just finished installing this on my van about 30 minutes ago. I'm on the fence about liking this product. If I had to buy another set of running boards, I'd spend more time searching out other options to see how they stack up. I don't think this is a bad product, but I think there are some flawsMy main concern is how well the brackets will hold up if someone over 220lbs steps on them.Instructions:This is my second TAC prodcut in the last few days that I've installed on my van (not sure how much I like their products). The instructions on this product were better than the last in regards to the image quality on the instructions. The major issue with the instructions is I mounted the brackets on the drivers side running board as pictured and it was super flimsy. So I undid the front bracket (the one closest to the front left wheel) and moved the bracket to the hole that is about 6 inches further towards the front of the car. They picture the front bracket mounted in one hole and in the picture you can see a second hole to the right. The second hole is the one you want to use for a sturdier running board; this is how I remounted mine and the difference was super noticeable. Still not the greatest but with the original mount, when i stepped on the running board I thought I was going to break the mounts. After knowing that, when I stalled the passenger side running board, I didn't follow the recommended holes from the instruction for mounting the four brackets. Instead I used a different spacing from the stock holes in the van. That gave the running board better support.Brackets:There are a couple smaller brackets that screw into the main brackets and the pinch welds. On the passenger side brackets, I decided to put the smaller brackets on the inside of the pinch weld as opposed to how they were pictured in the instructions (pictured on the outside of the pinch weld) but there isn't enough space for a 5/16" hole, the thickness of the upper portion of the smaller bracket and then have enough material below the 5/16" drilled hole to have a secure and durable mount.Product Quality:I think the brackets are nicely made. The running boards are very nicely made. But the sturdiness once installed isn't the greatest. I'm guessing some of it has to do with the design of the underside of the promaster.Installation:I'd say its easy but took me longer than I thought since I reworked the driver side mounts and then spent a little time on the passenger side finding the right layout for the four brackets.

it was easy to understand and handle
Once I go going on the driver's side door , it was easy to understand and handle. The passenger side and sliding door are much bigger and I would advise installing them last. Everything was pretty self explanatory, and if I could install these anyone with a little grit can do it.They look great......VERY HAPPY with the purchase.

bad design
the running boards are nice. great surface to step on, nice thick hardware. however an F for installation location. on my 2020 Ram 1500 promaster, the mounting location is into some very thin sheet metal. so when the running boards are stepped on, the running boards feel like they are bending. but its not the running boards nor the hardware at all. its the mounting location and material its mounted to. I wouldn't trust them at all. im 200 lbs. i could imagine if im lifting tools or something with additional weight and stepping on these. I had to modify the running board brackets so they would have support using 1/8" angle iron and mount to the actual frame of the vehicle. not the body. im not sure if different running boards have the same mounting location, but its a total bust. if you are not capable of getting creative, nor want to do additional work and spend a bunch of time on these, i would NOT purchase these. and if you purchase these, and have them professionally installed, expect to spend additional $$$ to re-enforce them.

Good for the money
Lots of pieces but went together fairly easily. Positive thing is it's adjustable for a wider step in needed.

A little "flimsy"
Decent kit but since there isnt a full frame (Unibody) on the Promaster the running bosards are a bit flimsy. I will prpbably weld up another support for them...
