This is a very good bulb; I am replacing my older LED bulb with this bulb in a favorite desk lamp. (I had previously replaced the halogen bulbs with LED). The color of the light is “warm”. It is not exactly like halogen but close. The halogen bulbs have a bit more red in it. The beam angle is quite good – 40 degrees. The lamp sits on a bird's-eye maple desk. This LED bulb highlights all those "eyes" in the wood, giving depth & warm golden color - beautiful.The bulb depth & circumference is: 2" W x 2.3” H (includes the GU10 pins).

Slowly my house is getting lit with LED bulbs. The early ones couldn't dim, and gave out an a harsh, cold light.Things are progressing.This light is warm, it is very powerful, whilst using little energy.Amazingly it has only 6 LED's inside it, and thy are tiny. Yet the light is so bright!I love how after being on for a long time, I can adjust the light, pointing it in a different direction (because of the fitting its in, this is not a feature of the bulb!) and it is not hot. No searing pain that one associated to halogen bulbs!Plus, in this hot summer, the benefits of good lighting that is not adding to the heat - sure, its not much heat, but in this weather, every little bit matters

Very difficult grading a light bulb. It works and is fully functional, but I have no way of knowing what its energy impact actually is, or how long it will ultimately last, without waiting a year to review it. It's nice and bright, and I can tell by the weight it's well made. It puts out a pleasant light, not too harsh and not to dim. Beyond that, it's a bulb.

this small compact bulb provides plenty of warm white light. the base is GU10 and hence ideal for updating halogen bulbs. The directional angle makes this great for recessed lighting. I am using this in a halogen lamp in the den. The lamp has been pretty much unused since the old halogen lamp fire scare. But this bulb has given new life to a beautiful lamp. the light is genuinely soft and not irritating to the eyes. Economical to use it is estimated to cost seventy eight cents per year based on a three hour daily usage. I have been very pleased with the quality of this brand's bulbs. they illuminate beautifully and have been virtually problem free.

Great little light exactly what I expected
