8yo “it makes me feel happy,” 5yo “it hurts me”
Bought 2 shirts for 2 sensory kiddos, who had completely different experiences. Just when I start to feel like I’ve got their sensory issues figured out…First up: sensory-seeking 5yo on the tiny end of the scale (below 10th percentile for height & weight). He spends every day bumping and crashing, spinning and turning upside down. I hoped a compression garment would help satisfy some of his seeking behavior. Based on chest circumference, his recommended size was Small, and he picked out the big superhero design (so cute!). The material is very thick, and even getting it over his head the first time was a challenge. From the sternum up, the shirt was so loose it didn’t touch his skin in places. Over the belly, it was tight as a drum. He said, “it gives me a tummy ache,” and “it turns off my brain, so I have no ideas.” This was a disappointing fail for him; we returned after trying it for one hour.Next up: sensory defensive 8yo, size Large (she’s 95th percentile for size). She finds touch painful, and has been known to swing at unexpected touch. For her, hugs can be painful and even holding hands is uncomfortable. As soon as this shirt was on, she said “this feels just like the hugs I like, not-squeezy hugs” and “I feel happy!” She did a few jumping jacks and said, “I feel light as a feather!” This was an unexpected win for her! Now the hard part will be deciding which part of her day to apply the shirt to, as her OT recommends compression garments only be worn for 2 hours max.

Great alternative to a vest!
Was told by my toddlers ot to get a compression and/or weighted vest. I didn't think he needed the "weight". He is more of a "squeezes" kind of kid. He also doesn't like to wear clothes very often and I thought the bulk of a vest would make him not wear it. I found this and it is perfect for what I thought it would be! Think compression socks for diabetics or people with leg swelling/blood clots. Only in a tank top form. He LOVES it. Gives him "squeezes" just like he likes. It isn't too bulky and can be worn under his shirts. Was wondering during the summer in 90 degree weather and didn't make him hot or sweat so the material is breathable. Definitely measure your kiddo as the sizes start very small (thinking 1 year old?) And up. My small 2 year old fit the size I measured him for perfect. The neck fabric is a little bunchy, but probably to account for kiddos being shaped differently. It didn't bother him. His it is now recommending this product to kiddos in grade school that don't want to wear a vest in public. Do prepare for it being difficult to get on and off.... it's compression after all. But we encourage him that he'll get squeezes and he's gotten use to it! Great price for the quality and type of product. Beats buying a very expensive vest and running the risk of him not wearing it! More products like this need to be made.

Good for Sensory seeking and texture sensitivity
My daughter is in the spectrum and she is very particular with clothes. As soon as I have her tried this, she doesn't wanna take them off. Quality is very good.

Too Itchy and Scratchy For My Son
I ordered this for my son who has autism, ADHD, ODD, and tactile defensiveness. His sensory disorder has really increased at an alarming rate the past 2 years. It has become increasingly devastating to his education, his ability to pay attention, and his behavioral issues. I was so excited to try this shirt. At 15 my son is not willing to wear weighted compression vests or any other similar products that make him stand out as different even more than his autism. He even stopped using his weighted lap pad which really did help him. This I could put on him under his clothes. The product was described as being very soft. It is not. It felt a little scratchy to me. My son was a good sport and really tried to wear this. He had to have help removing it at school. He complained that it was just too itchy and scratchy. He really favors extremely soft materials. I washed it several times with a lot of fabric softener to try to make it more comfortable. It didn’t help. He hated wearing it; and, as a mother who has watched him struggle with so many things I simply could not force him to keep wearing it. When things like this are irritating they become more of a distraction that makes the situation it is designed to help much worse.I ordered this because of all of the great reviews. I’m sure it probably does help some children with sensory disorders; but, in our case it only made things worse. I felt it was important to leave this review for other parents to see that it does not work for every child. I didn’t want people to have the same experience that we did and feel like they were the only ones.Products designed to help children with sensory disorders are not cheap. There’s really no way to tell if it will work for your child until you try it. For us this was simply a waste of money for a family with only one income. I had to make the decision to become a stay at home mom in order to care for our son and get him to school, doctor appointments, and therapy sessions. I love being available to assist him with any needs that arise; but, it has definitely taken a toll on our family finances. I’m sure our family is not the only family affected in this way. So, if your family is like ours and your child is partial to extremely soft materials you may want to give this product a little extra consideration before buying. I would highly recommend only purchasing one at first to make sure your child will benefit from this product. With that said, I really do hope that this product will continue to be beneficial for as many kids as possible.

Buen material
Me gustó el material de la camiseta, parece ser buena alternativa al chaleco de compresión , en especial porque mi ciudad es muy calurosa.

Excellent product
I had researched online many different types of compression shirts and I was worried about the quality and how it would fit. However I am very pleased. The fit is perfect. It's a very simple undershirt that hugs my son's body and fits nicely under his t-shirts. It seems to be working for him. A lot less pounding and screeching.

Disappointed
My son like it. But it doesn't do anything with deep pressure that make him more aware. The tactile thing. I spend so much to have a nice tank for my kid. That's it. It is one of my terrible purchase.
