This is a well structured book which goes through the personality types that people are while helping to explore your own personality type. It explains how these different personality types interact and gives information on a type by type basis of dealing with different personalities. It is a very good book to help develop better people skills and learn to cope with people you would otherwise not get along with. It helps you to understand other and yourself in a professional atmosphere.

I have used many profile tools, but this is by far the best.It does not just identify your style, thats just the first step.It helps you flex to other styles and adjust the way you see other peoples styles, as you try out things and learn more about them.I use people styles both at home and at work.

Let me,tell,you! This s let REALLY knows how to wrap a book to have,it arrive in pristine condition! Woo how! This was a book ai had decades ago that I used in a communications training class. The content is thorough, we-put together and a great asset to my resource library! I was so very pleased to see it is still available at,such a good price!

Bought the paperback version and it does not have an Appendix V. Appendix V is supposed to provide a job aid for others to help identify your style. Very disappointing that it is missing. I do not see a website or anywhere else to go to download.

One of the best books to understand your own communication style and that of your coworkers, boss, clients. I honestly used what I learned weekly if not daily in improving my ability to communicate with people of different styles. The theory of this book is similar to Myers-Briggs but its much simpler to understand and read and you don't need to go through the long test to better understand yourself and interpret those you interact with. When I was using this methodology most I was managing 60 consultants and subcontractors and dealing with 30 clients on a daily basis.

I was first introduced to this book back in 2010.I have used it successfully since that time and have bought multiple copies to hand out to my fellow employees and managers.It is a very good tool to explain how different folks work and how to get the most out of relationships both at home and at work.If you use it you will see results! Really helped me to understand my own style and that of others. The book was easy to read and the insights are valuable.

The approach to styles and how people tick really is interesting and applicable in real world. The way I can manage my relationships with other styles is also well thought through and described in such a way that it really will give a person a better chance at succeeding when needing to communicate.
