Ellison Sizzix Sizzlits Singles Die-Medium Phrase Happy Birthday #3

Product arrived on time. I like the font that was used to spell out " Happy Birthday". Just need to practice on getting a clean cut out of it.

Difficult to separate from background paper until I stamped it with waxed paper to lubricate the sizzles. Great for birthday cards and to put on birthday packages.

This is a great dimensional option vs. using a stamp. Stamps are wonderful, but it gives more dimensions to your cards and scrapbook pages. I needed a Happy Birthday and found this one. I have used it on five cards already and plan to keep using it as they come out so beautiful. Be sure to add your card to two-sided adhesive sheets before cutting with the die to make the words a sticker so there's no mess with glue or adhesives.

This die is very hard to come out of the die. It doesn't cut cleanly unless you have wax paper against the die and then the card stock. Also needed to run it through the big shot more than once and even had to put extra shims to make it work. Hopefully the more I use it the easier it will get.

I love this sizzlet..it is the perfect size for the cards I make..however, you need a pick so that you can get the more delicate areas to release. Another thing I do is make some up in advance using across if my favorite colors.. Hate waste.. Then I put them in a Avert Elle stamp and die storage envelope..

I ordered it because I wanted to make a birthday card for my daughter. Since I wanted the Happy Birthday in silver glitter I used some double sided adhesive, but for the adhesive it was to delicate or maybe the double sided adhesive was to thick, it didn't cut through I tried it couple times but after a letter sheet of adhesive I gave up.It worked on cardstock but that wasn't what I had in mind.Update Aug 2018 I tried it again with regular cardstock, because I really like the font, put it had to get 3-4 times through the sizzix and on some spots it still didn't cut through. It get's stuck sometimes in the sizzlits as well.

I had no trouble getting a good crisp cut with this die. It does stick into the foam in two spots, so that makes it a little bit difficult to remove. Sizzix Customer Service recommended putting a piece of packing tape over that part. I have yet to try it out, though.

I absolutely love it! This works perfect for cards and I so glad I got it! My only complaint is that the letters are so fragile because they are so thin, that it didn't work very well with my adhesive card stock, ended up having to use glue.

Hard to cut in cuttlebug. I add a shim to get enough pressure to cut. Sometimes it cuts and sometimes it doesn't. Can be frustrating.

Was not what I was expecting, porobably own fault but thought it would be a metal die which i could use on a Cuttlebug.

This die works well.
