Work great on hedges that was overgrown with stocks up to 2" cut them like it was nothing

The chainsaw tooth blade is great for using on heavy brush to small (<3" dia) trees. However, the brush cutting blade is scary thin. I honestly didn't use it on brush, but it's OK for small vines. My main concern is that it would break and fly about so didn't use it for long.

Unfortunately, the mounting nut didn't match with the mount on my gearbox. The mounting nut has six indentions while the mount on my trimmer gearbox has 10 protrusions. Research online shows the OEM labeled Husqvarna gearbox head for this trimmer has 10 but the replacement non OEM gearboxes have 6 only. Husqvarna's website didn't contain any detailed pictures so I had to rely on other websites to "declare" a part as OEM or not; so please take that for what it is. This should fit the non OEM heads.

Comes with plenty of accessories to help mount on different brush cutters. Keep the chainsaw blade teeth out of dirt or they will blunt quickly (as all do).

The two blades appear to be of good quality and the included bushings and adapters should allow them to work on most brands. For safety reasons these should only be put on trimmers designed to use a metal blade. Handlebars are a must for blade use to prevent personal injury. Those little grip rings on string trimmers don’t provide kickback protection like the wide handlebars do. The package containing the chainsaw tooth blade had the words “new” and “tip saw” printed on it and everything else was in Chinese. The selling price is reasonable if don’t wear out quickly.

Albeit with a little modification, it worked fine on my Echo.If you're shopping for one of these, you probably already know but on the off chance you don't....Stay away from the blade. Even that little trimmer motor is spinning that blade fast enough to ruin you day.As far as the product, I have nothing bad to say about it. Blade kept it's tightness and even after some small trees remained sharp and cutting like a champ. Adds considerable weight to the front of your trimmer so I suggest you have a stabilizing bar and harness or you're going to get tired quickly.Overall, well put together kit.

In addition to the 10 inch steel brush cutter blade, the set comes with a 6-tooth steel razor trimmer head, and various universal adapters. The set is resistant to both cold and heat, and is wear-resistant, as well. I'm trying to wait, until the weather breaks, before I use them. However, I have no doubt that this set will be a lifesaver, when it comes to trimming back smaller branches, bushes, and cutting down the many, many thorn bushes, on my property. I wish someone could tell me why there are so many. I can’t wait to see what the property will look like, once everything has been cleaned up. This set will be of huge help, in doing so.
