I know that choosing a birthstone may be hard to estimate but when you get close- try and get the order in! Because the necklace arrived fast after I ordered it!It is simply one of the most beautiful pendants I have ever seen and I feel honored to have it and wear it! I love the design, how the mother is holding the baby and looking at it- along with the month of the baby's birth commemorated with its birthstone! Even if you get this necklace for a mother with an older child- it will bring back one of her fondest memories when she looks at it- looking at her child.Because that is when a woman learns how to hold her gaze on a person she loves- when she holds her first child in her hands. Because I know that is how I learned to look at a person- stare at them while I felt how my heart would swell with love. It all started when I had my first child. I felt I could never get enough when I looked at my child. I could look at them forever. I wanted to have forever to look at them....This pendant commemorates that.I purchased my pendant with an emerald, to commemorate my youngest son's birth month. I wish I could look at him forever- but I feel like I never got enough! At least I have this necklace to look at, to know that when I wear it, I hope he knows that while I do- I wish I could be holding him as a baby, and looking at him- gazing into his sweet little face.The necklace is beautiful but hard to notice when you are wearing (and looking at) such an amazingly made pendant. However, the clasp is easy to take on and off. I can even do this on my own- with arthritis and nerve damage in my arm that extends to two of my fingers, making them almost completely immobile (they are basically useless). Still, I can latch the necklace on my own- so others with no problems (or lesser ones) should have no trouble.In closing, all those who are considering this as a gift- when the order arrives at your home- it is ready to be given. The box the pendant and necklace comes in is wrapped with a white bag- you can even pull the black ribbon handles out and then carry the bag straight to the mother who you intend this pendant and necklace for. Please look at the photos I took- two through five to see what I mean. The bag you see in the fifth photo, is carrying the box with the necklace and it fits perfectly- you can see it says "just for you."If you have any questions about this pendant and necklace, make sure to reach out and ask! I love hearts, so when I saw this pendant I knew I had to have it - and I am so glad that I got it! This is a substantial piece - not cheap or flimsy like the kind that turn your skin green. Quite the contrary! This piece is heavy, sturdy, and so well made that it absolutely looks like it's completely real! The quality is incredible, and the way the stones sparkle make it look as if it just came out of the jeweler's showcase! And the sterling silver/gold plating is done so well - there are no blemishes or bumps. I have owned this piece for a short time now, and so far I have had no issues with the chain or the pendant turning my neck green, causing me to break out or hurting my skin where it is touching it. I believe that it is hypoallergenic - so far I haven't had any problem with this necklace. This beautiful piece comes complete with the chain so it is ready to wear straight out of the box. The chain measures 17 inches, with an additional two inches of additional "add on" length if needed. This lovely heart pendant is approximately an inch and a half long, so like I said, it's substantial in size - but it's definitely not too much for the chain to hold. They go together perfectly, and it looks absolutely amazing when worn. The CZs are beautiful, quality stones - not quite as hard as moissanites, but they are beautiful just the same, and they're so sparkly that nobody can tell they aren't real. Yes, they are that good! There's honestly absolutely nothing about this pendant that looks cheap or cheesy - quite the contrary. This is a very tasteful, classy looking pendant that looks like it should cost a lot more than it does! I can't really speak to it's durability or longevity of either the pendant or the chain, since I haven't had it that long, but I do tend to take good care of my jewelry so I am hopeful that this will last. Along with the pendant and the chain this arrives with a nice gift box for gifting, and inside the box is a cleaning cloth. Overall I really like this beautiful pendant, and I would definitely would recommend it. This would make an excellent gift for any woman - Wife, Sweetheart, Mother, Daughter, Aunt, Grandmother, or even a close friend or co-worker - especially if they are a mother. It would make a really great gift - if you can part with it!

The theme of the necklace is so beautiful. Makes a thoughtful gift, the pendent is nicely detailed with sturdy material and very functional clasp. The price is excellent and shipping was very fast.

I ordered this item for me because I really wanted something that truly illustrated to me the love and bond that a mother has for her child. The image on this necklace for me was absolutely beautiful and symbolic of the way that a mother cherishes and protects her child. The sterling silver chain only added to its charm and the lobster clasp was a good size and so sturdy. The cubic zirconia diamonds found on this necklace are so plentiful and so gorgeous. I also found that when the sun hits it just right, it shines a beautiful color and the actually necklace for me fits perfectly around the neck with the type of clothes I wear. This item is a true masterpiece
