R RUNFUNMen's Hunting Boots Waterproof Hiking Boots Lace-up Insulated Work Boot, 7" Breathable Lightweight Outdoor Boot, 200g Insulation

These RUNFUN Men's Hunting Shoes (Size 11.5) (Style RF2307-7CLP) are good-looking comfortable “hunting shoes”/hiking boots.(see photo) They come with two insole inserts.(see photo) I originally put on the shoes without the inserts and found them to be comfortable enough. But then I decided to put the insoles into the shoes and i was surprised at how perfectly the insoles fit into the shoes. (Probably because i had previously encountered poorly-fitting after-market insoles.) So from that point on i wore the shoes with the insoles inserted.The shoes are unusually comfortable. It almost feels as if a warm glove is wrapped around the foot. I really feel the 3M Thinsulate doing its job. New shoes never seem to feel this comfortable. And while they are advertised as lightweight, i would rate them as comfortably medium weight; Certainly not heavy shoes but not feather-light paper-thin shoes, either. They are definitely substantial shoes.I am not certain why i decided to order size 11.5 even though i more often wear size 11. But i am very satisfied with the fit. I am not trying to say that everyone needs to order one-half-size larger than normal, just saying that it seems to have been a perfect choice for me in this case.I was surprised that i could find no information at all on the construction materials. Nothing inside the shoe, nothing on the tags and nothing on the box.(see photos) So i would guess the shoes are totally made of synthetic materials. But high-quality good-looking materials - whatever they might be. (I almost thought it was mandatory to provide materials information of this sort with shoes sold in the USA.)Since they were labeled “waterproof” i just had to tromp them through some water. So i stepped into some cold, dank swamp water to see if it seeped into the shoe. When nothing happened, i went a little deeper, then deeper and then i stopped at 4.5inches deep when it reached the second shoelace eyelets. I figured that was a severe-enough test and besides - i did not want that icky frigid swamp water inside my shiny, brand new shoes that i was liking so much. (i added a squiggly red line in the photo to show the level the water reached since it did not show up well enough)(see photo)All in all i really like these “hunting shoes/hiking boots. They are unusually comfortable, cozy-warm, and have better water resistance than i would have imagined for a boot of this type.

These R Runfun boots are good, actually they are surprisingly good, that is my first time checking out any of the products by the company, and I am definitely impressed by some of the qualities and features of the boots. Now, there are a lot of positives to be discussed about the boots, and some negatives to be mentioned as well, but before that, a quick few words about the packing and presentation. The boots are coming in a very nice and spacious retail box with a lot of information about the company and the contents inside. In the box, alongside the boots there are a spare set of Ortholite insoles and that is it.Positives:- Good quality made and features implemented for the outdoors - The quality of these boots surprised me, I had low expectations when initially ordered these boots, but I was pleasantly surprised. There are some good genuine materials plus some good synthetics as well, in addition the maker has implemented a 3M Thinsulate membrane to help and contribute to the water resistance factor of the boot. Furthermore, the outsole of the boot is non-slip and helps a lot with wet and slippery surfaces.- Great step-in comfort - The boot is very lightweight, and the midsole is somewhat cushioned, in addition there are two type of insoles included, one that is already inside the boot is a thicker polylite based insole that is very comfortable and cushioned and a second set that is Ortholite based, helping with the odor remediation and keeping your feet dry. Much more expensive brands that I have seen in the past don't offer a second set of insoles, which was a very good surprise.- Good support with the lacing system and good ankle protection - The provided laces are thick and are going through six classic style supported lace loops, plenty of support when the boot is tied, I couldn't on a 100% determine if those lace loops are made of metal, which would be ideal when it comes to longevity and sturdiness, but still they look and feel secure. In addition the height of the boot is good and the top portion around your ankle is well padded for extra comfort.- Additional toe box protector and all-in-one piece tongue - The toe box is protected by an extra patch of rugged rubber and the tongue is not a separate free flowing one, which is ideal to prevent from moving around and letting snow, water or other external elements inside the boot. - Good quality waterproof canvas material - Most of the boot is made of thick canvas material with a camo print, if you are using these for hunting, they can definitely blend nicely with the environment, there are convenient pull tabs on the heel as well for easy access.- Competitively priced under $80 - For the features and quality offered, these are priced very competitively.- Despite being very lightweight, these boots will keep you warm even during the winter months, yet they are quite breathable as well.Negatives:- I am not a huge fan of the camo print, but I understand that the idea here is not only to be an outdoor boot but a hunting boot as well, so for that purpose, they are just fine.- I wish that there were added safety features like a reinforced toe box and no pierce midsole/outsole so that you are not worried about stepping on sharp objects in the woods. Overall, a very good pair of boots by RRunfun, and I can definitely recommend them.

These boots are great quality they fit great they’re comfortable. They squeeze tight when you tie them up they are actually breathable and the anti-slip support is great

Finally getting some measurable snow so I had a reason to use these boots. Couple inches on the ground and walking around in the driveway and sidewalks were confidence inspiring. They have a good sole pattern and my feet didn't slip around. After scraping my car off and the hot air melting the snow I could see puddles on the rubber floor mats and my feet were still dry. An hour later they still were dry so it didn't just need time to soak into my socks, the water never made it past the waterproof membrane.The appearance is fine, you know you're buying camo boots so you can't complain about the pattern. But it'd be nice if there was total coverage of it instead of parts. Laces are fine. The speed hooks are good. The loop to pull up on the heel is also constructed well.Overall it's a good boot for the price charged. If you need a daily boot as a guide, you know youre in the wrong spot but a boot for walking fields for pheasants or ducks, this is a good choice.
