I ordered this kit to do my nails at home myself, the polishes are of very good quality for the price they cost, the base and top seal quite well and the colors are just as in the photo I give them a 10/10

This is going to sound like a fake review because I’m so hyped about this, but this is one of my best Amazon purchases of all time. If you like having your nails done / spend money on manicures at the salon on a regular basis (or even if you just want to start), this will seriously change your life. I have no reason to go to the salon anymore. I just can’t justify the expense now that I have this kit. For the price I had very low expectations, but I’m blown away by the quality and amount of stuff you get with this kit! It really works and it’s so easy!!! It’s SOOOO much faster than painting your nails the old way. As long as you can paint with your non-dominant hand (even if you can’t yet, it just takes practice), you can do a full gel manicure or pedicure in 10-15 minutes. It’s literally just file/buff, base coat, UV light, color, UV light, top coat, UV light - DONE. Or you can really take your time with it and get creative with tips, nail art, etc. The kit comes with really good quality nail files and tools too which alone are worth more than the price of the whole kit. And the colors are beautiful (just as pictured). Truly cannot recommend this enough. Also recommend buying a nail kit bag too (the ones that are made specifically to hold the UV light and tools and have little compartments for the polishes). Love love love!!!Ps: if you have any funky nails that bother you, you can buy clear press-ons on Amazon (fingers or toes!) and *good quality* nail glue, and paint the press on just like the other nails with the gel polish and UV light and it works great. My big toe press on has been going strong for 2 weeks!

A friend recommended Beetles gelKit to me. I was excited to use it. After my first use-meticulously following the directions-long process but nails looked beautiful following application. Had minor burning sensation following application. Read that there could be sensitivity -but that it would subside. I do not have allergies nor do I have sensitive skin. Shortly after thought I might be having an allergic reaction as the tingling/burning sensation continued and worsened throughout the night. At 4;00 AM I was awakened with searing pain in each of my fingers. It literally felt like my fingers were 'on fire'. After ibuprofen and ice -for hours...I still felt electric shock like pain in my fingertips. I then removed the gel polish to reveal 'bruising' on each of my nails that had been painted. The bruising and burning pain continued and worsened each day. No cortisone cream, allergy meds, antihistamine and anti inflammatory medication provided any relief. I haven't been able to sleep the finger pain is so severe. Finally went to my doctor today-he said I have 'Chemical burns' from the product and referred me to a neurologist. She concurred and said she is treating me for small Nerve neuropathy caused by chemical burns-she thinks from the chemical reaction of the gel polish and curing it with the UV light. She said it may be 3 months or more -to determine if the nerve damage is temporary or 'not'. There really should be a warning in this product-it should be NOT be sold. Buyer beware-not worth the BURN.

This is an amazing value! I HATE going to the nail salon, it takes forever and it’s so expensive. I ordered this on a whim bc I am now pregnant and don’t want to risk getting an infection from products in a public place. This kit includes everything you need but I also have a cuticle softening gel that I put on then use the tool to clip and push back cuticles. Few things- the polish is thick… you don’t need two coats.. just one good one. It’s self leveling and if you put too much it will pile up on the sides. Also I put my thumbs in the UV light separate from my other fingers bc if not you have to tilt and then the polish may slide over. I’ve had a few nails chip and I just end up peeling it off and touching up that one nail. Takes 5 minutes. However for the most part this is still going strong two weeks later but I really enjoy doing new color combos so I re do them. I also bought the nail clips and soak cotton in acetone and clip on each nail to remove and it works perfectly. They peel off for the most part but the remainder can be buffed off with the more coarse side of the filer. I’ve already ordered more colors and will be adding more to my collection! If you are tired of spending 50-60$ at the nail salon and are good at painting your own nails.. this kit is for you! I don’t use on my toes bc that may be a pain to remove.

First doing this at home. I found that if I take my time and follow the directions, it lasts a week and a half before they start to chip on the tips. I rush the other hand the peeled of the first week. It does work, just can’t rush. I will buy more colors. I am satisfied with this and the colors are great. I did use a dehydrator and primer. It also helps.

If you do any kind of work with your hands or wash your hands ever, this gel polish won’t last. While it’s easy to apply and dries instantly, it doesn’t hold up to everyday wear and tear. They always chip less than a day after application. I’ve tried a few times and prep my nails thoroughly. Unfortunately my return window has closed, but I don’t see myself using it very often. Was hoping for an economical manicure.

I can’t fault the product itself looked so nice on goes on well but unfortunately i had such a bad reaction, with blisters on my toes, lifting my toe nails off nail bed and hives all up my legs, such a shame as really liked the product and thought how great it was to use

This product is dangerous, causing my nail bed to burn, the gel did not cure properly. My nails are damaged and sore, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Gel didn’t cure despite multiple attempts to cure under the lamp. Don’t waste your money
