Western Safety Dust Masks (item 01949) is a criminally worthless safety product. I wore one of these dust masks while performing a simple task, wire brushing some rusty cast iron, by hand; no power used. The job took about 15 minutes. After removing the mask and wiping my face, I had to blow my nose. The rust that came out into my handkerchief was disgusting. Don't waste your money on this shoddy product; I threw away the rest of the 30 mask box. No matter how you try to adjust the nose piece on these masks, assuming the elastic strap doesn't break, you can't get a decent seal. Take your money and buy a reputable mask from 3M or another manufacturer that will actually filter simple dust particles. Shoddy safety equipment like this should not be offered for sale.
