To be fair, it is probably better to change your oil frequently rather than pick an expensive brand and hope that it lasts a little longer between oil changes. I own two Toyotas and two Lexus. Owned many Hondas and VWs. All serviced by me with regular oil changes with Mobil-1. Better value that buying the 6-pack quart bottles. I just use a measuring cup and dispense what I need. No oil burning and not one oil leak. I realize that all base oils are manufactured by a handful of companies and the additives are also made by a handful of other companies. The different retail brands market their oils as being special but all synthetic oils are pretty good. The price on Amazon is comparable to sale prices at the big box stores so the convenience of delivery is great, especially if don't want to drive to the store and risk not finding it on the shelf. I can't swear that Mobil-1 oil is better than another brand and Youtube has many comparisons (if you trust the findings). I can only say that it is a good value and the additive packages seem to keep my engines clean. The High Mileage oils have additive content that is slightly better for keeping your engine clean (see the specs at Mobil's website). I have had no problems with any of my Hondas and Toyotas so I will stick with a reputable brand that works.

I have been using Mobil motor oil for 2 years. Sometimes I also buy it from Walmart. It protects my car very well.

This seems to work well as far as I can tell, and when you buy two from here, the price seems to beat out the Walmart price.

Mobil1 is the only oil I'll use. Runs smooth and quiet and cool.

Based on all oil tests, by far best product for older high mileage, engines.
