As the title says.. simple, effective, effortless.I got this for my Remarkable 2. The tablet fits seamlessly into the case. Also, there is a spot for the stylus/pen, as well as, a small storage area for extra tips for the stylus/pen.The case is very thin, low profile. I imagine this is the absolute thinnest they could make it, while having it still be durable. The top shell is very tough, not bendable at all, you can set anything on it or put it in a backpack without any worry.The binding could be a little bit stiffer on the edge but maybe that would prevent it from folding all the way back and out of the way (which I really appreciate!). Either way, this does not affect overall function or appearance.

Interior spine/seam was not properly bonded. When cover is closed the magnets do not line up to keep it closed. These things were obviously defects that were not quality checked. The material and sturdiness of the cover seems good. I’m sad it won’t work for me.

This is a great product for people who don't expect miracles, and just want to protect their reMarkable without spending a billion dollars on the official folio. But with that said, I feel like with some comparison shopping, you may be able to find something a little better than this one in this price window. There's nothing wrong with it per se, fit is good, looks nice enough from a distance, but when you touch it and look close at it you can see that it's not exactly a bargain, but priced appropriately for what it is. My advice is to shop, but if you can't find a better fit at this price, this will protect and not look too bad
