Octopus Kite 26ft Giant for Outdoor Fun Large 3D Kite with Reel for Beach, Park, and Family Gatherings - Durable Design Easy to Fly

My husband, my daughters, my grandchildren were all wild about this humongous, colorful, expressive kite. We were able to fly it in the country, where there were few trees, no electrical wires, or posts of any kind to worry about. We waited for a windy day and it was magnificent!

Was exactly as described !Huge and bright!Need at least 15 mile an hour wind to keep it flying .Very fun and exciting kite.

The kite got stuck in the tree and the strings ripped in the process of it getting it down, now it is very difficult to get the strings to the correct tension for the octopus to fly straight without swaying. Is there some sort of technique that manufacturers used to get it flying perfectly? No detailed instructions included or a tensioning tool could assist users in achieving optimal flight performance?? For that im giving it a 4/5 stars. All in all, despite the fun and entertainment that kite had, once the string somehow string come loose or snap it will be nearly impossible to get it back evenly and rise without swaying and that's a drawback that could be improved soon hopefully.

This kite flew well in a light wind (~8MPH per the weather report). It has a complicated bridal made out of string, and the instructions (probably not from a native English speaker) were not 100% clear, but were easy enough.It comes with a ring with string, the kite, and a nylon bag big enough to hold everything, and instructions.This kite is large and even in a moderate wind flew well, and was easy to fly by one person, but of course launching with two people.I have flown many more traditional kites, this was my first "cell" kite and was quite fun. Once in the air it is quite stable and easy to walk up and down the beach. The first picture give you some idea on just how huge this thing is.Awesome, Fun.In a stong wind you might want gloves (a good idea with any large kite).

This kite is massive! Due to its size, we have to take it to a local soccer field on an island to find a space big enough to fly it so it doesn't get caught in the trees or telephone wires. Its a little tricky to get and keep up but when the conditions are right, its a really fun kite to fly.

This item arrived well packaged and undamaged. Advertised as a 26 ft kite, the first clue that to it's size is the fact that it's shipped in a vacuum bag to compress it down so that it fits into a reasonably sized box. Believe the advertisement, this kite is big! Unpacking it from the shipping box, I found the quality and construction to be good. The included string is similar to nylon fishing line and is very strong. The string length claim of 100 meters appears to be accurate, and the round reel is up to the job of holding it. The included kite stuff bag is a nice touch and is sized appropriately for this kite. Well written instructions are included. Being a para-foil type of kite, there are no sticks or rigid cross-members to be concerned with. I found the flying qualities to be excellent. I must stress again that this is a large kite, and getting it into the air was made much easier by having a helper. On the day I flew and took the attached photos, the wind was about 9-12 mph. When my helper released it, it climbed smoothly into the sky with no hint of instability. The entire time it was aloft it was very stable. The amount of pull exerted by this kite was fairly large. I wore some nylon yard gloves while flying it to protect my hands, as is recommended by the manufacturer. Owing to it's size and the pull it exerts, I would not recommend this for a child. Overall, I am delighted in the quality and the flight characteristics. I expect this kite to last for a long time and am looking forward to flying it often. While a more expensive than most kites, it is LARGE, well made, and the kit is not lacking in any way. Highly recommended.
