Sound quality
The build is amazing, it feels very solid, it looks beautiful and elegant, however, the real star of the show is the quality of the sound, I’ve listened to many systems in my lifetime and this is by far one of if not the most clear sounding system I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to!! The highs all the way to the bass is perfect for my application, I did add a subwoofer to my setup to aid when I am watching a movie. Overall very highly satisfied with my purchase! Would definitely recommend.

Great sound
We really like these speakers. Easy to use and good looking. This was a great purchase.

No auto on?
Sound pretty good. But they automatically turn off without automatically turning themselves on when you start playing music. Thats pretty silly and unexpected on hardware that costs more than $20

TOO Light to be coat.
Unfortunately the sound quality is SO poor. It has bass but that is all NO low and NO midrange that is clear. Just Bass. The bluetooth was glitchy too. I had to return them for the price point. This is more like a shirt.

Outstanding powered mini floor standing speakers.
Very pleased with sound, quality and esthetics. These are beautiful, high-quality speakers.

Will not power on
I unpacked my new speakers. Connected my tablet through Bluetooth to the speakers and played them . After about 30 minutes they turned off and they will not power back on. I tried multiple plugs. And nothing makes the LED on the top light up. I guess I will have to return them. I was really hoping they would be my new speakers for when I don't want to use my huge system. I have four 3030i and 2 3020i with a large system which I don't always want to have to power up in order to use it, I was hoping these would be able to Bluetooth and turn off when I'm sleeping. I guess I will have to look for another pair of powered speakers. It's a shame that they lasted only about 30 minutes if not less.

Comfortable, enjoyable listening with all recordings
I bought many speakers in my day seeking that high end experience. That's when a few recordings that weren't my musical preference sounded great. Mediocre recordings? Not that enjoyable.Well good news, the MD40's offer the detail when needed, and still enjoyable with so so recordings.Even Bluetooth sounds good. Now I just need to make sure my cats don't think they have a scratching post.Always a challenge.
