Q: What is the Magic Adhesive?

Its just Velcro, but this is by far the best one of these we have had. The material is much stronger than our previous ones, (we buy one/year) and I think this one will last at least 2 years. The magnets seem better as well. Highly recommend.

Q: Measurement of my door is 36" x 92". I would assume you 36"x 96" would appropriate? I would excess of 4" at the bottom?

We brought the excess up on the top. We did not want the excess dragging around on the floor.

Q: can it be cut to size with scissors?

It has magnets about 8 inches long all down the middle which would be hard to cut. It does have 1 magnet on the bottom which is only about 2 inches which could be cut off.

Q: why is it bigger than the door frame? how am i supposed to hang it when it reaches past the frame?

They make different width & height screens. Are you sure you ordered the correct size for your door? If you ordered the correct screen size I would measure the screen to make sure it was not mis-packaged.
