My wife recently wanted to get on the health bandwagon so I decided to oblige and cut back on my unhealthy eating and work together on this endeavor.Being an engineer, I of course started out by building a spreadsheet to build recipes/compare nutrition/manage calories etc… Well after some time and many articles later I realized its not only what you eat but how you prepare/serve your food. After getting past the low fat and low salt searches I focused my attention on olive oil.First stop, which has the best and why? For this I search the world ranking system and took the top oils and placed those side by side in my handy dandy excel sheet. Then began the fun part of analyzing and comparing them based on flavor/price/style/volume/etc... One issue was availability. Most of the oils I was able to find available through the web but not all were locally available and I wanted something that was easy. So it was at this point I turned to my most used source for ordering almost everything and went here (amazon-duh!). I started off using the oil for a finisher on my salad as well as my pasta and boy does it kick things up a notch! This was really my first experience with quality olive oil. (I usually bought the cheapest stuff off the shelf – rhymes with mertolli) I was amazed at the different aromas and flavors that could be tasted in the oil alone. This stuff definitely sets the bar!Now the search for recipies will begin on how to use this oil, so its back to the grind on the old excel sheet!P.S. I will be ordering the Epicure eventually to say I have had one of the best!

All around great product!
Delicious smooth taste that you can tell is made with quality! I love the spout which has a controlled pour making it easier to avoid over-saturation and great to drizzle over salad, veggies, etc. The bottle's design is appealing enough to leave right on the counter.
