Works as Promised - Price is a Bargain! - May Become My New Go-To Pad
So far, so good. Big enough to cover the tail nicely. Good traction but softer and less abrasive than DaKine and other brands. Price is excellent. Three sections so fewer potential failure points. So far the glue is holding. But it's only been three sessions. I surf everyday so I'll know shortly how it sticks. If this lasts as long as my other pads, it's a no-brainer to keep buying them - they're half the price of any comparable pad!Update: Well, it's been pumping for weeks and I've used this in dirty river mouth peelers and countless chest to head high reef and point breaks. No signs of peeling. Grip is good. Wear is good. My only two very minor complaints is that it we a little wider and the arch bar be a little more aggressive and more of a hot dog shape instead of an oval. But that's not enough to stop me from buying these over and over. So I've bumped my rating to 5 stars because price is a factor and these are dirt cheap so it doesn't get better than this

Worth the price
Ordered this for a section of walkway on our boat between the swim platform and the main interior. The walkway was a smooth section of fiberglass where people would slip and fall if they were wet after swimming. We usually placed a towel down in the area to solve the problem, but that would get drenched and rumpled/moved fairly quickly. We bought this pad as a solution and are very glad we did. The pad is fairly thick and cushiony. It has a diamond plate design on top that looks nice and there is no slipping even with wet feet. The adhesive back is quite strong, once it is placed it is not coming back off easily. Even lightly placing it down, it takes some effort to remove. It is also very easy to cut in order to fit spaces. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

Good customer service
It was my first time trying this brand and I was a little skeptical about it but I changed my mind when I read all of the glowing reviews. Initially, I was pleased with the overall product. I was able to have two solid surf sessions and the grip felt comfortable and stable. However, after my third surf session the traction pad started losing its grip. I actually lost a full piece of the traction pad during my last surf session. This product may be cheaper than other recognized brands but the quality is clearly inferior. The traction pad was a waste of money and I'm very disappointed that it didn't last. Since I've never had a problem with other products from this brand, I feel that 2 stars is a fair assessment.**** Updated Review ****After writing this review I was contacted by a representative offering either a refund or product replacement so I am bumping up my review from 2 stars to 4 stars for the company having exceptional customer service.

Easy install.
Put this on the splashwell of my boat, over glossy gelcoat. Easy install... check fit and cut, clean surface of boat with rubbing alcohol, peel, carefully line up, and press down. Love it so far, still perfect after 1 month, no peeling. I didn't think about the cleaning aspect, being soft it does get some dirt stains, but a little careful scrubbing with soap and water and it's good to go. Best part is that it's the perfect non-skid for bare feet... just soft enough, excellent pattern to prevent slipping. Color works well on a white boat too.I had a little left over and used it as a pad for my anchor. For protection I also cut small pieces and formed it to some hard plastic clips and Fender Tenders that sometimes rub against the boat, it formed really well over sharp curves and angles, and stays stuck. I was kind of surprised at how well it sticks on such small, angled surfaces. Cool stuff.

Excellent product, applies easily.
Had to replace the old tread on the steps going down into my boat cabin. I pulled off the old tread and used it for a template. The Traction Non-Slip Grip Mat cut very easily to size with scissors and stuck nicely to the fiberglass step, which I had cleaned up with a goo-removing product. It seems durable and looks nice on the cabin steps, soft yet grippy underfoot. Very pleased with this product, which is considerably less expensive than many other choices.

Work Great On Kids Sailboats.
I run a junior sailing program in Hawaii. We use Open Bics, a plastic rotomolded boat. They come with nonskid but it's just two strips and not very effective. We've used SUP pads in the past but the prices have shot through the roof.Cruising through Amazon one day I ran across these pads. Price wasn't bad and four pads pre boat should do the job. We put them on last week and they've just been through five days of classes. The kids that use them thought they did the job. No sliding around and comfortable to sit on.The only problem we ran into was two pads had corners lift where the kids pull themselves back on the boat after a capsize. No big deal. A little contact cement resolved it.We'll be buying more as we need them.

Still holding on
It's held up well over the past several years, surfing sporadically during all seasons. After 35+ years playing in the ocean, I'm not out there popping airs or ripping tailslides - but I'll get a few good turns in and smack the lip pretty good on a wave. I'll even stuff myself into a barrel if it's there.Clean the board really good before sticking the pad on. Be sure to get all that old wax/adhesive off before sticking the new one on. Use a wax comb (old credit card works too), hair dryer and/or a cleaner like SimpleGreen if needed. It's a one and done install, too. Don't try to pull it off and reposition the pad once the adhesive touches the board. I usually start by peeling the backing off -only partially- on the edge or corner I'm putting down first. Then continue peeling the backing off while slowly laying the pad down in one direction, rubbing it down as I go. Also, be sure the edges are sealed good. If sand and water get under the pad, it'll come off.Lastly, all my boards get a board sock and I NEVER leave them out in the direct sun or locked up in a hot car to bake and delaminate.Have fun out there!
