I really do like the finished product, but oh man was it extremely hard to put together. I am not a novice when it comes to building furniture, but these directions were the worst, just pictures and made it extremely difficult to tell what screws were needed and what part something was. The packaging made no sense as one item would be in one package and the other item that you need with this item was in a completely different bag. The sliding mechanisms took me forever to figure out. It looks great once I finally finished it. Folding the table back in can be difficult especially on carpet as the whole part can tip over a bit. Pushing on the bottom of that section helps it move in without any tipping. The finished product is very sturdy and works perfectly for my sewing machine. I recommend it, but just be warned there will be frustration and oh so many "what the heck is this part?" moments.

The overall design of the desk seemed poorly thought out, with awkward angles and unnecessary complexities that made the assembly process even more challenging.After finally managing to assemble the desk, I was left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with my purchase. The desk looked cheap and felt unstable, not at all like the sturdy and functional piece of furniture I was hoping for. I would not recommend this desk to anyone looking for a reliable and well-made piece of furniture. Save yourself the headache and invest in a higher-quality desk from a reputable brand.

I wanted a desk but couldn't justify only using it a handful of times. This desk is the best of both worlds! I love having a desk that converts at my convenience.The look is lovely and the size of the desk is absolutely perfect. The desk is sturdy.I was concerned about buying a desk online but you're not just buying a fantastic product. You're also buying from a wonderful company that goes above and beyond to help their customers!

I've had this desk for over a year now and it still holding up very well. Since I work from home, I have this desk setup in a corner in my living room all day. I will fold the desk in when I know we will have company over for a family gatherings or parties. It folds in really easily and then it just looks like drawer that is tucked away in the corner. Its a show stopper when people see me fold it out into a desk though. I have designated desk chair, so I have to roll that chair into another room when I fold in my desk. Other than that, I have no issues with this desk. Plenty of shelf storage too.

As per others' reviews, the desk is poor to medium-poor quality and assembly is an utter s***show with literally the WORST directions I've ever encountered. However, having a fold up desk with footprint that is small enough to put in a corner of a standard closet is a novel and useful idea. Because this is exactly what was needed, I can almost forgive the shoddy materials and profoundly inept instructions. IF someone were rather handy with wood, the design is rather clever, and the order might be better served as a template to improve upon. However, that's not me in this life.I pretty much knew what I was getting as well as the supreme pita it would be to assemble.. I went ahead with the purchase because it is what I needed. So... I'll handle it gently, repair it probably frequently, and for the time it lasts, it's a great large desk that can 'go away' when i need it to.Last word of wisdom...I did wait for a sale where it was under $200 and still feel a bit foolish for spending that much on a problem.. but since that problem solved a larger one, I did it. I'd venture to say that most people conned into spending more than $200 will be quite disappointed tho.

Wish the wood was a little better quality. Directions were hard to understand, but works well.
