This has been perfect, although the purring aspect might as well not ...
Ordered this for my elderly grandmother whose cat passed away. She wasn't physically able to care for another cat but missed petting one. This has been perfect, although the purring aspect might as well not exist. It's a very quiet sound (I can barely hear it unless I press my ear to the cat), and there isn't much vibration. But Grams loves it, and that was the whole point, so... 4 stars!

The plush kitty is soft and cuddly, but the purring apparatus did not work. Tried two of them, both purring were broken.

waste of money!
I bought this toy for my niece as a christmas gift. I had read all the reviews and saw that for some the purring mechanism stopped working in a very short time. However, I do believe that for every product you will have good reviews...and bad reviews. So I bought it anyway. The purring mechanism broke, on christmas day, only a couple hours after she opened the gift. Never to work again. I tried EVERYTHING!!!! She was so upset! Don't buy this product it is indeed very unreliable. You will not get what you paid for.

Love this toy....bought this kitty for a cat loving isenior citizen.....super soft and snuggly....purrs softly like a real cat and you are able to feel the vibration as it purrs....great value....
