Exceptional earbuds for the price
After quite a bit of research and comparison to similarly-priced options, I decided to pick up the Baseus Bowie MA10 earbuds in preparation for a two-week holiday across Europe. Having just returned home, I can say with confidence that these are the best travel earbuds $30 can buy. Though they are not perfect in every way, the features and quality at the price point are verging on ridiculous. Add to that excellent sound quality and you've got the perfect budget earbuds. The case: No getting around it, the case is a monster (see photo comparison to AirPods case). If you're looking for a case you can carry around in your pocket while running or moving about at the gym, these aren't for you. But the bulky case is for good reason: the battery life is insane. I used these earbuds regularly throughout a 2 week vacation, almost always with ANC turned on. Despite me never recharging along the way, the case had 56% charge remaining upon my return home. The earbuds themselves never indicated low battery despite being in use for 6-7 hours at a time.Active Noise Cancelling: You won't find many $30 earbuds with ANC at all, but I was nonetheless curious about the quality of noise cancelling. After using these on various loud flights and train rides, I am extremely impressed by the amount of noise blocked out. Definitely not the same quality of ANC as you'll find in some $150-$200 earbuds, but again... Value for money.Transparent mode: Definitely not a standout feature here. Transparent mode may let a touch more sound in compared to standard non-ANC, but I don't find it all that impressive. This doesn't bother me personally though, as I don't expect to use this feature much anyway.Comfort/Fit: In-ear buds have always been a little uncomfortable for me, and tend to make my ears sore after long periods of use. After testing out the different tip and wing sizes, I settled on the largest size for each. I found these to be much more comfortable than pairs I've had in the past, though 5+ hours of use still did lead to some mild ear soreness. As for fit, these buds stayed in place flawlessly once twisted into position. The wings sit nicely behind the crease of my ear and lock them into place firmly. I'd fully trust these to stay in place during intense activities like running or weightlifting.App/Customization/Connectivity: The app is pretty basic, but allows for adjustability between different EQ modes and ability to set up your own custom mode based on preference. I have no complaints about the standard EQ mode, but I'm no audiophile so I'll leave that critique to someone more qualified. The app allows you to customize gesture settings, including double tap, triple tap, and press-and-hold. Not being able to use single tap takes away a bit from the customization options, but it's easy to tap a bud accidentally so it makes sense that this isn't a gesture option. Connectivity and range are both good, no issues pairing or switching between devices. Had to reconnect in my bluetooth settings a couple times, but I didn't find it to be too much of an inconvenience.TL;DR: The Baseus Bowie MA10 have features far beyond their price range and check every box for quality travel earbuds. Sure, the case is pretty huge, but the battery life is well worth the extra bulk. If you're on the fence, buy them. You won't regret it.

Unbelievable for this price
Bought these for $25 with the $10 coupon promo.I bought these to replace my earbuds that I use with ANC while on my tractor. Previously used MPOW X3's, but one of them quit working, and they are no longer available from Amazon. My daily buds are Beats Fit Pro, but I don't want to chance losing one of them if it falls out while mowing.Pros:Battery Life: Used them for five hours with ANC on and they were still going strong. I have charged them twice in the case, and the case still shows all four indicators for full battery charge.Sound: Great Sound for this price point. Again, compared to my Beats Fit Pro, they have a more full bass sound. Volume is plentiful at full volume. Not sure you would want them any louder. When listening to the live version of Tool's Pneuma of Danny Carrey for Vic Firth, the lower bass sounds do get a smidge muddy at the highest volume setting. Highs are not harsh, and are very clear. Bass sounds full but not overpowering or unnatural.ANC: works great (once I found some tips that fit my ears best). Not sure I believe the -48dB claim, but it is pretty good. Not worse than, but not quite the same as the Beats. Again, for this price point, it is great. See notes for transparency under cons.Cost: I can't imagine you will find a better pairs of buds at this price.Fit: I have never owned this style of earbuds before. They fit snugly, don't become loose, and have yet to fall out, even while working in the yard.Cons:Fit: Difficult to find tips that would seal well in my ears. May be a personal issues. Provided tips would not seal enough to provide for good ANC.Case size: large case. Heavy. However, it seems robust.ANC: Transparency mode is weak. yes, it works, but in my opinion, it isn't loud enough to be close to the original sounds if the buds were not in.I would not hesitate to recommend these buds or purchase them again. They are a huge bargain for this price.Update: 05/17/24. Been using these for about 8 hours per week. Still haven't charged the case and it is still showing all four led's for battery status. Yes, charger case is bulky, but if that's the trade off for the long battery life-it's worth it. They have gone up $5 and $32 now with the current coupon. Still a great deal.Update 10/22/2024. Left earbud started with a weird fluttering while in noise cancelling mode. Contacted Baseus support. They sent me a new set and I received them in a few days. Great experience.

Pretty good headphones
I upgraded from a $30 pair of BT neck-cord Sony headphones with fantastic sound but the neck wire sucked. The Baseus Bowie MA10 have damn good but not great sound. The headphones got a bit distorted when Roger Daltrey screams YEAH at the end of Wont Get Fooled Again. The equalizer option is pretty good and has a nice group of presets for different types of music and voice though some minimize singing quite a bit.I find that the buds are very secure in my ears but do not go deep enough into them. Using the smallest ear tips as the larger ones are uncomfortable after a short time. I attempted to put my preferred Sony tips on but they would not lock in place. The ANC, in my opinion, is not great no matter the ear tip. I can hear planes overhead, dogs barking and traffic. There is no change between ANC ON or OFF. The Pass Through really doesn't do much either. When music is paused I have to take the buds out in order to fully hear what my wife is saying. Using the Baseus app, Ambient sound, custom setting at Noise Reduction depth on high I can still hear traffic outside the window. The battery life is indeed fantastic! The case itself is a bit bulky weighing in at 96.2 grams with the buds adding another 11.3 grams. This is actually a good thing IMHO as I know when they are in my pocket and I will not loose them like I did with some Sony buds =(The Blu-tooth connection is great paired with a Pixel 8 with even the microwave offering little interference. After 45 years of listening to headphones too loud I was hoping for something that would allow me to listen at a lower volume while still making me want to dance. These are close but not quite what I was hoping for.
