My wife and I work in emergency medicine and we have a whole collection of emotional support vegetables. What is that you ask? It’s a pickle, an avocado, and a potato holding a sign with words of encouragement. Our students love them, because they offer them emotional support when they’re taking a test or working on a skills activity. It’s become kind of a thing. When I saw this cute little pack, I thought it would be awesome to add to our collection. Although they do not have emotional support signs in their crocheted little arms (in fact, these don’t have “arms”), they still do the trick. We even joked about printing our own little mini posters and promoting them to emotional support fruit. I know, we’re goofy, but we’re taking teaching to another level, one crocheted piece of produce at a time.These guys are well-made, and look exactly like the fruit that they are meant to represent.
