These are the first ‘mold it yourself’ bite guards that I have tried. I have one that I bought from the dentist that fits perfectly so I think my expectations may have been too high. I followed the instructions exactly and used my instant read thermometer to check the water temperature to make sure it was under 170°. I tried molding both a medium and a large and did not have much luck. They fit worse after I tried molding them then they did fresh out of the box. I got online and read some reviews of other kinds of bite guards and decided to try a slightly higher temperature. So I heated the water to 173° and it made a world of difference. Maybe my thermometer is not accurate. By doing that, I was able to mold it, so that it actually has teeth marks and fits. It still isn’t snug and if I open my mouth, it will fall off. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not but should be usable for travel which was my goal.

Easy process, just pick a size (I prefer medium instead of large) boil, bite, cut, and use! If you grind your teeth, don't just ignore it. With anxiety and stress, bruxism can quickly damage your teeth every night you sleep/grind for hours. 5 years ago, I was told it is hereditary and my dad had the same issue and my teeth were ground very flat which puts me at higher risk for other dental issues. I am using the mouth guard for bruxism. This pack comes with 8 pieces of 2 different sizes along with 2 travel case. I have to trim the large sized one to fit into my mouth. These mouth guards are little thicker compared to other available mouth guards, but this gives the good protection for the teeth grinding and associated jaw pain. Good multipack mouthguards for bruxism.

I picked up the Dental Night Mouth Guard for Grinding Teeth, Anti-Grinding Mouth Guard for Teeth Clenching, as I have been grinding and clenching my teeth at night for several years and go through these silicone mouth guards every six months or so. I like that this comes in a kit of eight, although just the larger size fits my upper teeth, which is the only one I wear at night. The directions are easy to follow, and if you don't get the fit just right you can reheat them back in the pot and it will go back to its former shape to reset again in your mouth.

These don't work at all and we're a total waste of money

The instructions for these mouth guards have you put them in very hot water and then tell you to put them straight into your mouth to bite down. It sounds unpleasant, so I haven't done it. I plan on getting something else that gets set up differently, I don't think I would have ordered had I known this.

These budget-friendly mouth guards are a great option for me to use instead. The set comes with eight guards in two different sizes, and they include two travel cases as well. I find that the larger size fits me better, and these are easy to mold using hot water and then forming them like you would a sports mouth guard. These can also be trimmed to fit better, and it doesn’t take that long to find a good comfortable fit, at least for me. I’m happy with these so far, and it seems like a wonderful value.
