I was hesitant to select his chocolate due to being in Florida, and I was right! I pulled them off my covered, coolish porch within 5 minutes of delivery and they were soft to the touch. I'm guessing the truck lacked AC. I immediately put them in the fridge and they were fine. A couple were a little misshapen, but if I wasn't looking for it, I wouldn't have noticed.The taste was spectacular. I don't think it's $40 spectacular, but it was really good. Then again, I'm not vegan, so my choices in high end chocolate isn't as limited as it is for some.It was really creamy, and I automatically rolled my eyes back in my head. It was THAT decadent!

I didn't like these chocolates at all. In all fairness, they were terribly melted when they arrived so maybe that messed up the integrity of the chocolate. Some of the chocolate even had melted out of its wrapping. They're very oily and just not great. I don't know if they would have been better before ending up melted or not. Based off my experience I definitely wouldn't order these again and they're entirely too expensive.

When this candy arrived I was a bit hesitatnt as it looked like someone may have tampered with it. The candy was shipped in a paper bag and had gotten a bit mangled. The candy package itself has a seal which closes and seals the box from any being taken out. This was peeled back and no longer sealed the bag. Definitely a sign that someone had opened this bag. The bottom perforations were ripped open and the bottle seam spread apart.I wasn't going to try any but my husband decided to try one. He survived, so I tried one also. This candy is delicious. It has a hazelnut flavor which is not overwhelming. The choclate itself was perfect and flavorful. It is very creamy and just melts in your mouth.This candy is delcious and I would say gourmet. It is delcious and Made In Italy, which makes me very very happy! It is my homeland!

Everything about this Venchi Gianduiotto Gianduia N. 3 Chocolate Gift Bag screams QUALITY! And when you open and bite into a piece, that quality is very apparent in the texture and flavor.If you like hazelnuts in your chocolate, you're going to enjoy this candy. However, the hazelnuts aren't evident because you don't have the actual nuts, you have a hazelnut liqueur - so each bite will taste the same, and that's delicious!This has quickly become one of our favorite candies. Truly delectable!

I didn't know what to expect with this chocolate because I never had a vegan based chocolate before. It definitely taste different but it in my opinion it's not no where near as good as milk chocolate but it was still good for the kind of chocolate it is. I was actually surprised I liked it. My daughter tried it and didn't like it though and she's a big chocolate eater. She just said she doesn't have the taste for that type of chocolate. I guess it varies from person to person as our taste buds are all different. I can't really compare it to anything taste wise but even though it wasn't one of the best chocolates I've ever had it still wasn't bad.

Chocolates are in a fancy orange package. There is a floral picture design on the front, and on the back, there are nutritional facts with a best by labeled.Each chocolate is individually wrapped in a light pink foil, with the brand labeled on the foil.Chocolate pieces are soft and silky to the taste. The flavor is a rich dark chocolate flavor forward with a bit of the hazelnut flavor towards the end notes.Chocolate is presented well in its packaging and wrapping, and tastes great.
