These clips do exactly what I needed them to do and they are strong. It does take a tool for me to pinch them in fully but all the hose clamps I've ever used that stand up to pressure also need to be used with a tool of some sort. Most importantly these things don't rust underwater. There are eight different sizes but only six are listed in the product description and easily rectified when, if you don't see the size you need, ask. As for those who complained that one size was too small and the next size up too big, measure before you buy - the product measurements are very clear and accurate. These are a good price for the quantity; I'll buy these again if I need more.

The other reviews for this product are a bit unfair. First off, this type of clamp (regardless of manufacturer) requires one to use a pair of pliers for tightening.I needed non-metallic hose clamps for various silicone/vinyl/ldpe tube fittings in my aquarium sump. The attached photos show the clamps I successfully used on 1/2 in and 1/4 ID tubing applications.There were 8 different sizes of clamps in the box, which seem to easily fit hoses with outer diameters ranging from 1.5in all the way down to 7/8in. The vendor seems to have been unfairly pummeled in the review section, which isn't justified at all and prompted me to write this review of plastic hose clamps. I bought it for other purpose other than what the clamp was meant to be used for but I got lucky and my project turned out great... I mounted on the rear subframe rail of my 1290 Superduke and I drilled it and tapped it so that I can mount my rear fairing panel on the bike... Worked like a charm...

It just depends on the hose size and how tight of space your working with, I didn't have a problem finding one that would fit the fuel hose on my boat engine.

These work really well. I put them in my saltwater fish tank so there wouldn't be a rust issue. They work great. I wish they came in bigger sizes, though.

Like others I thought this was going to be the fix I needed. Big surprise to find out nothing fit. Grab the first size, a bit too small, go one size up now it’s too big (even closing it all the way) I am sure if you can find the odd size hose they will work fine.

My boat motor had a similar style of these, so I bought these to work on another motor. They dont seem nearly as strong as whatever brand was used there.While there are many sizes in the kit, none of the smaller ones worked. Either too small, or too big. The smaller size would be close, but trying to pinch it closed and stay closed was impossible. It just popped open. Giving a bit more force, breaks.
