This figure is close to being a good purchase but not quite. The likeness and proportions are excellent. However, the cape is just bad. It’s cheap, flimsy, has the bare minimum wiring and it’s way too big. It just gets in the way and it’s annoying. There’s too much cape in between the two wires. Unless you want to pose it all the way splayed out, it just will be a bunchy annoyance. As for movement, anyone saying the articulation is adequate or good are just seeing the ball joints and hinges, confirming that they function, and not really trying to create a dynamic pose. Just look at all the review pictures. He’s just standing there because the figure poses awkwardly. His lower torso pops off WAY too easily. It essentially cannot be moved except for maybe .5mm either way. He has no real torso articulation from a functional standpoint. The legs are ok and I really like that he has not only ankle pivot but also calf/boot swivel, which is essential for any kind of crouch. The legs also drop down which is good for function if you know how to use that feature as intended. For me this figure is more of a statue. It can do a slight running pose or something but if you’re looking for something that’s even on the level of a McFarlane dc figure (and even those have bad articulation) you’ll be disappointed. I actually prefer McFarlanes versio bc of this guy with a few slight tweaks. It even has a simple, wire free, correctly proportioned cape that doesn’t get in the way.
