Handled all exactly what I expected.

Works incredibly well for the price. Comes with a ton of information like different materials IR output compared to their actual heat, it has a table with values to compensate for this, you can even program those values in if your reading a certain material constantly to get accurate readings. One big problem, at least for me, is that it beeps very loudly every. single. time. you pull the trigger. It took less than half an hour to take it apart, disconnect the buzzer, and put it back together so it ended up not being too big of a deal. The other minor problem is that the laser and backlight are toggled with the same button. So each button press cycles from no backlight/no laser, backlight/laser, backlight/no laser, no backlight/laser, and back to no backlight/no laser. You end up just smashing the damn thing until yo get what you want. There's many times I want one or the other, or NOT one (no kitty, don't jump in the oven!) Might take it apart again and make a manual button for the laser if it bugs me enough.
