I purchased one and when I received it, it looked nothing like the picture. While I am aware that stones are all different, this particular petrified wood was basically all open and cracked. So I decided to ask for a new one. Well , the new one arrives and it looks just like picture. Polished and definitely a beautiful piece. I then happened to read that sometimes returns end up in the landfill and I can't in good conscience have the first one end up there. I mean it is beautiful in its own way I guess. So, I am keeping even though the description wasn't accurate. And I will have to eat the cost. So hopefully if you order you will get the beautiful one first without having to try twice. It was an expensive lesson.
