Arrived Fresh & Tasted Wonderful - But Pieces Are Very Small
Arrived triple-wrapped, fresh, and tasted wonderful. My only complaint was that the pieces are extremely small, and it is pricey.

Small date-filled pastries made from an authentic Arabic recipe...
I love most Middle Eastern desserts and these small date paste-filled pastries are good with a cup of hot tea. Zaitoune uses quality ingredients comprised of wheat flour, dates, butter, sugar, water, and leaven according to the traditional Arabic recipe. The pastries have soft date filling in the middle surrounded with a pie crust-like pastry stamped with a flower design on the top. They are moist, flaky, and not too sweet with the right proportion of pastry to filling. The 54 pastries are about 1” wide by ½” tall and come packaged in a lovely reuseable round, lidded tin with everything carefully and securely wrapped in plastic.
