My son has so much fun with these.

These eggs were a great add to our egg hunt over the holiday. The same plastic candy filled eggs get boring after awhile so its fun to mix some other options in. These were a hit. They were a little fragile but that makes sense given the dinosaurs are meant to burst out of them as they swell. These would also be great in favor bags, as gifts to a classroom, or just fun for kids in general.

I didn't care for these at all and actually threw them away. The eggs have a chemical smell, they don't hatch for a very long time, and when they finally hatch, the dinosaurs look like small, furry blobs. My child wouldn't even touch them.

What is with these new hatching toys that take one or two days to hatch? This is the worst thing for kids who love instant gratification. It's not even as if the toy you get isvworth two days of waiting. They're the same tiny, featureless toys you can get out of a quarter machine. Just break the plastic eggshell with a hammer and be done with it! The fun of hatching animals is sitting and watching them hatch. I'd much prefer to get a bag of little gelatin capsules with the sponge animals inside that you can buy at the dollar store over this.

My son had a Dino party and these were perfect party favors as well as perfect stuffers for Easter eggs. They hatch easily and there is a nice variety of dinosaurs.

This is one of the few toys that I have consistently given to my kids over the years that they actually still enjoy receiving. There's nothing more fun than "hatching" your own dinosaur. It's not hard to use, and while it takes a little while for the dinosaur to "break" out of the shell, my kids have always had fun watching it happen. If you're looking for a fun toy to add to Easter baskets, or really any gift, these are a winner.

A few of these broke in half in the box prior to using. But the others were great for party favors. My only wish was they were a little bigger.
