The storyline draws you along at a exciting space, the characters are covered in enough detail without slowing the pace of the story and the occasional humour grounds the science fiction in a world the reader can relate to.Only criticism is because it is a while for me between reading the books in the series, I could have done with a who is who of the secondary characters to refresh my memory.
