Good quality but too heavy
Sound quality was excellent but the weight and size of the plug pulling down on the headphones caused me to return the cable.

Good cord
Fits securely at both ends, no static in the connections when the cord gets moved.

Plug Doesn’t Fully Engage
Seems to be a quality cable compared to the cheaper alternatives, but, sadly, the male plug doesn’t give a satisfying click when plugged in. Seems to be only partly seated. Debating whether to return it…Update: I think I understand the issue and effected a fix (somewhat crudely). I measured the exposed plug length on the cable for various cables at hand:D'Addario -- 1.20"Focal Clear - 1.22"Focal Elegia - 1.22"Radio Shack - 1.22"Sennheiser 650 (Cardas) - 1.22"It appears that the molding material on the D'Addario is blocking roughly .020 of plug length insertion. As a fix, I trimmed away enough material to get to a 1.22" measurement. The plug now seats solidly.I would have hoped that such a critical dimension should be achieved with certainty, but apparently process control is not strict enough. At any rate I decided to keep the cable. Further, after talking to D’Addario, they offered to send me a replacement. The new one measures 1.23” of exposed plug length and seats solidly.I’d up the rating to Four Stars for good customer service.

Beautiful! Very Happy (unhappy)
Very, very happy! This cable was better than expected. I was using a radio shack cable and losing about 20% of quality. Happily I decided to step up to a pro level.I listen to my music through my recording studio bought in the mid-ninties. My goal, to hear the music as heard by the artist in the recording studio. With the 24bit mapping of remasters this can be acomplished. I'm listening to my music through a 40k dollar electronic music chain. The weak link was the headphone cable.I use some mid-ninties AKG240DF studio headphones. They are 100% flat. I hear the mix and master much like in the studio. This 20ft cable gives me better sound than my studio headphones directly into my board! This amazed me! I'm hearing more details. I have produced both audio and video for thirty plus years. I believe when mixing I can hear 1/3 db difference! So if you want studio quality audio, this is a great route to go. If you want to drink a six pack and don't care about sound go the Radio Shack route. Also you should invest in Pro-headphones. Comsumer audio ia -minus 10, pro audio is plus 4. Go the pro route if you love music and audio. Blow away everryone with studio quality sound. Nothing better. This cable is better than I expected! the price is worth the quallity. Take this from a Pro.Update: Din't' even last two years. Tripped on a couple times and is now worthless. Bought another cuz I don't have time to dink around when recording. So as Pro as these seemed they didn't last in a Pro enviro. Disposalble would be my new word. I like the product but studio and road work is tough. this cable is prissy.

Excellent quality and service.
D'Addario makes an excellent product, coupled with stellar customer service and an almost unheard-of lifetime warranty.I bought their 20-foot extension cable for use with my Sennheiser HD 650 headphones. The cable has a very nice, quality feel with solid connections at both ends. I noticed no difference in sound through the extension cable versus a direct connection to my amp. After nearly seven years of heavy daily use (with coiling for storage every day) the cable developed an intermittent loss of signal. A couple of emails and a couple of days later, D'Addario sent me a brand new cable with no hassles whatsoever. Due to the pandemic, they didn't even ask me to return the defective cable. Many thanks to their customer service rep, Hailey, who handled the quick and easy replacement.

Heavy Duty
First, the connectors make a strong positive click on both ends - with enough effect that it requires a conscious effort to remove. I don't understand some of the comments about the connections - maybe they just didn't apply the needed pressure to make the full connection. The cable too is high quality, substantial; and you'd have to purposely try to knot it up. Only downside it its a bit heavy due to its substantial build

Surprisingly hard to find cable combination
Trawling the internet I discovered to my surprise how few suppliers had this particular cable arrangement, the most common being 3.5mm headphone extensions rather than this 1/4" (6.3mm) version. Needing this for professional use, I have found having to use a 3.5mm-1/4" adapter to plug in to the headphone output of a mixer is not as reliable as having a full size jack at the mixer end and the 3.5mm-1/4" adapter at the socket end. One problem is that if for any reason the cable suffers a pull it can easily break the connections inside the adapter as all the strain is taken by the 3.5mm jack. This has happened twice when someone has accidentally tripped the cable. With this cable that can't happen. The use of lightweight cable and good strain relief makes this a very versatile product and is highly recommended.

Brilliant
This is a heavy duty cable that is well made and suffers from no faults I can see - the cable is thick high quality, the ends are large and heavy duty and it works well. This is really worth spending the extra on as it is not the cheapest but it dies not give problems with connections or anything.

Premium headphone cable
Seems like good thick cable and robust. Arrived in good time. A bit dearer than others but looks premium quality and worth the extra cost.

Pricey but it Works
Bought this cable to use with my beyerdynamics headphones.Increases the distance from source and maintains the sound quality. It's a good midpoint between really cheap cables and crazy expensive ones.If you invested in good headphones - choose this cable it won't disappoint.
