I’m a sucker for some new gym tops and this set of 3 un-branded tops are really nice for a number of reasons…Firstly, I like the different combinations of colourways that you can choose. I went for the olive green, red and dark grey tops. It was the olive green that won me over as I like that colour in anything but it’s nice to have variety in your drawer.The colour panels are ‘heathered’ as opposed to solid colour - something I’ve come to rather like in a gym top as this effect is quite complimentary for more body types, and adds some visual texture. It isn’t for everyone though, but variety is the spice of life.The sides are done in a darker material creating a tapering look to the torso - giving you a bit more of an illusion of an athletic physique where you might not quite be there yet in reality.The back section is more mesh-like giving it more breathability - this makes it good for keeping your back ventilated - something any runners will tell you is quite a helpful feature.Overall, they are nicely designed, decent body length, good but not excessive arm hole openings. Perhaps a bit stingy on the neck opening, meaning the top of your chest isn’t going to get as much air, and if you are needing to focus on seeing chest muscle activation you may not see what you need to see when working with a mirror, but other than that, these are a good option at a fair price (c. £21 at time of review for the set of 3).
