L'Occitane Shea Milk Soap, 8.8 Ounce

I love L'occitane soaps. They are so creamy and smell amazing. They don't dry out my skin at all. They feel luxurious when you start rubbing the lather around. The soap is also extremely huge. Even if you cut the bar in half and use it, you will have this bar for a long time. I'd suggest, as with any bar of soap, not to put it directly in the way of dripping water or where water will be on it often when others shower. Keep it at the back of the shower so it can dry between uses. One bar of soap will last you at least a couple months if used daily. This is direct bar to body contact. I know some people might use wash rags and that would make it last even longer. If you use a loofah, you might not ever run out. Ok that's exaggerating, but yes, it's not like store bought soap where one bar lasts under a week. This soap is amazing, smells amazing. It stays on the skin but very lightly, It disappears after a bit, but that's ok because i have lotions and perfumes that I use anyway and I won't smell it anymore. I'd recommend it for practical purposes and for those who just hate having dry skin because of store bought soaps and body washes. I was so excited to see that Amazon sold this soap here so I could add it to my order instead of having to order separately from the Loccitane site.

This was actually purchased for a birthday gift for my sister-in-law, who was visiting us from NJ. She had the opportunity to try this particular soap at a hotel she had been staying at, before she arrived at my house in SC and was totally impressed with it so much she saved the package it came in so she would be able to look it up on line and purchase it once she went home. She had mentioned it to me and I made a copy of the package and looked on line and ordered it for her birthday to surprise her. Unfortunately it was suppose to arrive at my home the night before she had to leave to go home but it did not. So when it did get here I had to reship it to her at her home. However she was extremely happy with it. It would have been nice if it had arrived in time and we could have celebrated her birthday together.

I saw it mentioned in a magazine and decided to try it out. It cleans really well, but doesn't dry you out. Don't let the price scare you away. This is a big bar of soap. I cut it in half and I'm using a half at a time. It's going to take awhile to get through it. Its good for your skin and you get your money worth. You can't say that about alot of things these days. Its a great value!

I purchased this bar soap to give to my grandmother for Christmas. She's the only one in the family that still uses bars instead of liquid soaps in her bathroom.First, I love anything L'Occitane. Anything with shea butter immediately grabs my attention. I know they are very pricey, but so many of their items are well worth the splurge. I myself love their almond shower gel as I tend to have extremely dry skin in the winter.Second, regarding this item specifically, it's a wonderfully, large bar. Her last one lasted about a year. The scent is also wonderful. I went with this one over the lavender or the verbena since those, to me, tend to be strong scents. And even though she would have liked any of those, the men in her house would not have appreciated the strong feminine scents.I am extremely happy with my purchase. She was very excited to receive this item. I will continue to buy L'Occitane products (as long as I can afford them.)

Always have loved this soap! The packaging could have been better though. Simply wrapped in cling wrap & placed in an envelope causes the soap bar to be all cracked up.

My skin is so dry and itchy, I have scratch marks on my body from scratching so hard. This soap has made it possible for me to have supple skin and the results were immediate after I used it. In fact the first time I used it, I had shaved my under arms about 2 days earlier and they were itchy, the minute I washed under my arms with the soap the itching went away almost instantly while calming my skin. Thanks to this soap I no longer have itchy skin and I cannot be without it. If you really want to benefit from this awesome soap try washing in luke warm water and then towards then end of your shower rinse off quickly with room temp water, cool water closes your pores and locks in moisture, hot water opens your pores but can also dry out your skin if the water is too hot. The shipping was fast I ordered on Friday and I had it on Monday, fast simple shipping!

I bought these for a friend of mine as part of her birthday present, because her husband told me how much she liked this soap. I found them on Amazon and when I gave them to her, her face lit up! I have to tell you that when I was holding the wrapped soap it had a lovely, light scent. I don't think I've spent that much on soap before, but I'm going to treat myself and buy some for me. That says it all!

Best gentle soap I have found in years.My skin has cleared up and is not irritated by added fragrance. (BBWorks level, destroyed my skin).I have been using this for 4 years and LOVE it.It lasts a while and doesn't take a ton.I use it with city water, the lathering is minimal but with a loofah it's increased and the same amount goes further.I only need to use minimal lotion as my skin stays moisturized and doesn't dry out after a shower. ( Even up against our highly chlorinated city water!) Now if I could find the perfect conditioner to give similar results... I'd be thrilled.

Have been purchasing this for the better half over 2 years to go through the harsh north winter that leaves the skin pretty dry. It does not dry up the skin after bath, during winter days. One bar lasts from Dec to Feb hence it justifies the high cost. A must if you care for your skin.

El envío llegó a tiempo y en su empaque original con sellado trasero y en buenas condiciones.Lo llevo usando desde que lo compre y sigue manteniendo el aroma, lo mejor es que con cada lavada el baño entero termina oliendo al jabón. El aroma no es pesado y no harta. Es suave y no irrita. Es duradero y aun con el tiempo no genera grietas. Deja la piel hidratada y limpia. Sin más palabras que decir que es una excelente jabón, lo recomiendo mucho. Seguiré comprando más.
