BOUGHT A SECOND ONE A WEEK LATER!
We have a house that heats unevenly, and it has been a cold winter. We added some radiant space heaters, but felt we were wasting energy running them too long. And we were. With these thermometers we can easily turn off the heaters when the room reaches the temp we find we are comfortable at, instead of heating beyond it and then waiting for the room to cool down naturally. Wish they were a little bit easier to see when they are not lit, but we placed them conveniently and it is easy to hit the snooze button to light them up. Instructions are a little vague, so if the little alarm bell is showing in the time area and you did not set it, just hit the 12/24 button once quickly and it goes away.

This is an excellent product! I'm a mother of four, and finally I found the perfect thermometer for my oldest to my youngest child. Love the option of both settings, but the forehead one is the best for my little baby. Also, it is very light weight, so I easily carry it iin the diaper bag or even in my purse when not at home! I really recommend this product, you won't regret it!

Really quick reading
This worked for awhile... I mostly used the ear reading mode... however when I had the flu last month, it told me I was fine when I was burning up (and nearly halllucinating) two other thermometers on hand agreed I was 103.3 (not 98.6). Perhaps it just needed batteries replaced (which I did when my face was no longer melting off my skull), so we shall see...

I really like this thermometer mainly due to how quick and accurate it is.. The ear reading is very accurate while the forehead is slightly lower, but knowing that fact, it is reliable. The directions are easily understood. It arrived very quickly and the communication was great.

If you have kids, you need this
Even if you don’t have kids, you need this. Who wants to mess with an under the tongue thermometer when they are sick or are trying to take the temperature of a squirmy baby? It’s quick and accurate. Easy to use.Has a backlight. Can covert C/F. Stores temps, so when the doctor asks you, you can just read the numbers instead of trying to remember.Great price!

I am happy with my purchase
Works well, I use the forehead setting. I was contacted by the seller before I even received the thermometer with a link on how to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, but it was already set to Fahrenheit. The only thing I would suggest is providing a starter set of batteries as there actually is a place in the package for batteries. Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase.
