We promised ourselves we would be prepared this summer, after many sleepless nights last year. We wanted a good quality, large tower fan for when the temperatures rise again; and thankfully we've pleased to have found this one, which is also nice and quiet.Simple enough to construct, the two stand pieces are snap together, and then are screwed to the bottom of the fan, creating a good solid base. The remote control, batteries inserted (2 x AA batteries) and then ready to regulate the intensity, speed, rotation, on/off. The central LED screen displays the different settings; basic touch buttons below the screen can be used instead of the remote. Adding water to a back lower tank freshens the air, and we also have 4 x ice bottles, fill and freeze before adding to the tank to make the air even cooler. I really wanted was a timer which will allows us to switch the fan on before bed, cooling the room down, and turns off again automatically when we have hopefully fallen asleep. Tried the timer out, and it works really well, so very pleased with that feature.The fan is tall and powerful but doesn't actually take up too much room, we've unplugged it, it could be pushed it into a corner for now, as it isn't needed just yet. A decent length cable which we could tuck away in the empty water tanks between uses.This bladeless tower fan is a solid construction, will provide that much needed cool air this summer. Light enough to move between room, and more importantly doesn't make a loud noise, even on the highest settings. Definitely a worth while investment to keep us cool this coming summer; so we've both delighted with it.

I'm very happy with this air con tower, I was looking for something tall so when I'm in bed I can get a nice cool breeze, I have seen other units but they were lots shorter, this one it's perfect.It was very easy to set up, just needed to install the base with the screwdriver provided.It gives a good amount of air even on the lower setting, on that setting it's very quiet, even on the high setting it's not particularly noisy.It came with several ice packs so they can be rotated and have one ready to go at all times during summer.It has a remote control (batteries not included), for me this is very important I can't sleep if I'm uncomfortable so I like to have the remote near me bed to adjust the flow. In terms of appearance it looks good, it's a bit chunky but I rather have chunky and powerful than slim and weak.I'm very happy I have bought this early in the year and I'm ready for the heat wave.I'd definitely recommend it, it's a necessity now that the British summer gets hotter and hotter every year.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our caravan as it is difficult to keep it cool when it's sunny. Even when it's cold outside, but sunny, the van can be really warm and we need something to cool the van down, we also travel abroad and we like to keep the air moving around the van without having the doors and windows open that lets flies and mosquitos into the van. This worked great and dropped the temp down in the van by 3-4 degrees very quickly, also with it being portable, we can move it into the bedroom for a night and keep that cool. A great buy and I'd highly recommend it. We are looking at a 2nd one for home.

This one looks way more stylish and seems to produce a better distributed cooling effect when pointed at a person.The other designs don't provide enough vertical distribution and this one allows the breeze to cool your whole body at the same time.The evaporative tech works really well, producing a nice cool breeze. The ice packs make a huge difference and really should be used all the time and the oscillation allows you to distribute the cool air around the room if you prefer.Much better design in my opinion and well worth the money.

After it arrived, I couldn't wait to open it and try it out. It's not very big, but very convenient to use. The method of use is also very simple. The cooling effect is particularly good, and there is no loud noise. I look forward to the arrival of summer so that I can use it.

I have tried and everything is as good as describe.Top and bottom air flow design is great for a big room like 300 square feet, 360 degree wind works good. I didn't try the icebox yet, but it looks like a good idea.Only one thing to complain, the control is small and I think it is better to keep it on a specific place.

This air cooler has been a real godsend. It came very quickly and we used it immediately. I used it in mu lounge and in night in my bedroom. I can highly recommend this item you will be really blessed.
