I used to buy regular Robitussin without any letters (no cough suppressant or any other additives), but it's become impossible to find in either the brand name or drug-store generic. I was so happy to find Geri-Tussin offered on Amazon in a large size and at a good price. When I contract a cold/flu/virus this is a "must-have." I don't know why but the liquid form of guaifinesin is much faster acting for me than the more available tablet form, but it really is! Excellent product!

Functional, accurate description, if you are a pilot or air traffic control, pretty much the only type of cough/mucus medicine allowed.Definitely more of a liquid and not a syrup. Hope you can stomach bad taste because it doesn't taste great, but does get that menthol feel down the throat. Cheap and effective.

Works. This is what I took in my childhood for bronchitis. Doesn't taste great but who cares? I don't want pills which upset my stomach or the additives (decongestant, tylenol, etc.) that you get with drug store brands. Adding decongestants to Guaifenesin is counter-intuitive: the purpose of decongestants is to dry up mucus that you're trying to thin out so it can be expelled with Guaifenesin. Duh.

Works good but even for medicine that taste is horrible. Hard to give to kids.

This is NOT cough Syrup. It is a thin liquid. NOT HAPPY

It's hard to find Robitussin without DM anymore but DM conflicts with one of my husband's other meds. This was a good buy compared with the tiny bottle I finally found in a drug store.
