Nova Sport Wear Clear Messenger Bag, NFL Clear Bag Policy Stadium Approved Tote

This just arrived minutes ago. We got this item to carry it to a graduation ceremony that will be held in an athletic stadium where clear bags are required. It will suffice for that purpose. It is a medium sized bag, smaller than the 12x12x6 clear bag that can be carried. I would not expect it to serve as a handbag carried daily but then handbags of that type generally cost more than this does. The plastic is moderately thick, like the plastic in which new comforter sets or blankets often arrive in, maybe a bit thicker. Of course there is, by definition, a limit to how strong plastic is, for any clear plastic bag. I ordered three bags to try -- this seems to be the same thickness as one of them, and it is thicker than the other bag for which I paid a similar price. The thinnest one bag is a plain 12x12x6 bag with the school logo on it. There are many clear bags with assorted school/sports logos on sale at amazon. But I think the plastic one with the university logo is too thin even to work well for a single trip to the stadium. I doubt the thinner bag would support the weight of much of anything in it. If I keep that thinner bag, I will use it as a gift bag for a single lightweight item, like some homemade baked goods, to share with someone who attends the graduation ceremony. Or I might use that university-branded one to present someone with a copy of my thesis (that is, as a gift wrap). But this bag that I am now reviewing as well as the other Eastsport Clear NFL Stadium Approved Tote, Medium - Black bag I got are of sufficient quality to carry things in when we go to the ceremony so the choice would simply depend upon how big of a bag is needed. The zipper on this one is satisfactory--not unduly cheap. As I measure the bottom of the inside of the bag -- not the external pocket, but just the main part of the bag itself -- it is two inches, not three. The outside pocket measures as one inch. The outside pocket is about eight inches across and five inches tall. The length of the shoulder strap is adjustable. We will carry a few items, such as keys, ID, and a phone to the graduation. This is not the time or the place to carry a great number of items. It looks to me like it will be workable for that purpose. If there is no update to this review, then it did serve the purpose--otherwise I will repost. It does not have a strong plastic smell. I can discern a plastic smell if I put my nose right up to the bag but I didn't notice a strong smell when I took it out of the packaging. This bag is rather inexpensive, which was important to us, because we didn't want to pay a lot for an item that we are going to use once, for the graduation, and do not know if or when we will use it again. Keeping in mind the price of the bag and the intrinsic limits of clear plastic, I think it is a good deal for the price. A $40 bag also arrived today that I expect to carry every day as a handbag. My expectations are of course different. The other one looks and performs like a $40 bag. Note that the flap of the bag is white fabric, not clear, so if an entirely clear bag is required, this would not work. This seems to me to be quite a satisfactory bag for its purpose and given its price. Note that it is not particularly small like a wallet or clutch. It is a little bigger than that. It cannot quite be worn under a gown (cap and gown). Bottom line, I would buy this again, and would expect of it only what can be expected of a plastic bag. This one was better than I expected for its class.UPDATE: I am upgrading this from four stars to five. I took it to graduation and it worked quite well. I didn't need the 12x12x6 size bag that one is permitted to carry to a stadium; something smaller worked better. I didn't find any bags that looked like they would work better than this. Glad I got it.

So on Monday, 4/23/18, my job decided to have an inspection. Basically when you work in a contact center - you can’t have large purses and totes at your desk. I initially had a clear tote that I was able to use for three months. Now all of sudden I was told it was too large (my Mac book air can fit inside). Anyways, I grabbed my tote and put it in my car. I was kind of mad because no one told me three months ago - so I thought I was fine. I’m just glad I have Amazon Prime because I ordered this messenger bag on Monday and it arrived Thursday, 4/26/18. It’s small yet I can fit my headset, my lotion, my car keys, pack of gum, - basically my essentials that I need while I’m at work. As for my larger tote, I can use it for when I travel. Great buy for me.

I bought this bag because it met the new SEC stadium policy rules and will be perfect for the next game. I am very happy with the bag although I have not actually used it yet. I also think it will be perfect to drop in a beach bag for my phone and kindle rather than the baggie I have used in the past. It arrived quickly and was exactly as described. I also like that I received instructions on how to remove any wrinkles that might have been caused in shipping but this was not necessary for me as it arrived in perfect condition.

It worked for me as an NFL stadium bag. I was going to be walking around all day, pre- and post-game, so I wanted something that wasn't too big that I could sling over my body. The quality seems okay so far (I haven't had it long), but it is definitely not a big bag by any means. The strap was shorter than I expected, and it barely works as an across-the-body bag. I'm not a tiny woman by any means, but if I had a larger bust, the strap might be way too short to be usable. One thing I wasn't expecting: after ordering the bag, I received an email from the seller with instructions on how to remove any wrinkles it might've gotten during shipping. Since I packed my bag in luggage, I didn't care about any wrinkles, but I thought it was cool of the seller to offer those tips.

I bought this for a festival that only allowed clear bags. The 12x12 tote recommended was a little larger than I was comfortable carrying around all day so this one was the perfect size without being too small. I fit my phone, wallet, camera, portable charger, and was even able to get a shirt and other merch in it. The strap was long enough to comfortably wear as a cross body but I shortened it to wear like a normal purse length so I could hold it to my chest in the pit. As someone who likes to get in the crowd I also appreciated that it had a zipper so I could jump around without worrying about anything flying out. This bag was exactly what I was looking for and am looking forward to bringing it along to more events. Thank you!

I purchased this Clear Messenger bag for when we go to the Theme Parks. We live in Orlando and we are Annual Pass Holders. Having a Clear Bag helps me get through security easier most of the time (sometimes the security guards a minute to realize they don't have to do too much).

Just the right size and easy to carry on a shoulder. And, I like the fact that I could order 3 different colors for the 3 women going to a Saints game.I ordered bigger clear ones first, would have been great if we needed a diaper bag but we didn't so I returned those and bought these. Also handy for extra items on a car trip, you can see and find them quickly.

This was the perfect bag to take to the Detroit Lions game! I had absolutely no problems getting through security. I love that it zips up and it has an extra pocket in the front as well. Couldn't ask for a more perfect bag :D
