After years of use my wife's Brother SE-400 horizontal spool broke.I contemplated using PVC primer and glue to repair it to meld it back together but wanted to see what options are out there before I did it.Cost on Amazon was between 10-12 dollars, I pulled the order trigger and it was here the next day, that was the easy part, getting into the sewing machine was the hard part. Once in replacement was single screw and alignment with plastic guide pins. Perfect match.Even harder was getting the sewing machine back together due to poor design on the rear cover.The fork split where the leg fit in between was a night mare to align. Got it back together and looks perfect. Tested and working.
