Medical Terminology: A Short Course Paperback – Import, 1 November 2011

I almost purchased the book by itself for a Medical Terminology course I'm taking, I am so happy that I bought the online package. For each chapter of the book, the online chapter gives you the same information in a different format and a load of additional exercises, activities and games. It's like getting double the information and questions for each chapter, which really helps. I like to read the chapter in the book and then do that chapter online and then do the activities and games for the chapter. The appendixes in the book are wonderful also - more explanations, diagrams and activities. You get all the answers for all questions and that really helps. From what I've read, you have access to the online portion for 1 year. If you only get the book by itself, it will be great - but if you can spare the extra $15, it's really worth it to get access to the online package.

Excellent book for someones with a biology background (or not) who wants to learn Medical Terminology. Lots of examples, this book will familiarize the reader with not only terminology but also elementary human biology and basic health care knowledge.

Sounded like this came with a textbook: apparent,y it does not.This is my second time receiving this item. The code was no good for the first. I did get another code, but no textbook, although I enquirer about this

I purchased this book for a class I am taking and so far it has been really easy to use. The online portion is easy to navigate and helps reinforce the textbook information. Has made learning very easy and in an understandable manner.

I love it! I am a nursing student and for my introduction to nursing class we used a lot of medical terminology so this came in very handy! I learned a lot from it and feel that because of it, my grade was as good as it was. It teaches you the suffixes, prefixes, and etcetera for you to easily read a word and define it yourself without actually having to look it up. It also has a lot of other helpful stuff inside. Really glad I purchased this!
