Easy to prepare meal
This rice is actually an imitation of rice. It is made of yam and soybean powders. The package did not provide any directions in English, so I used a translator app to translate the directions. It was actually very easy to prepare it. I cut the top of a package off, put the package in a ceramic bowl, and microwaved it for one minute. I slightly loosened the grains with a fork, then added some sauce, and grilled chicken. It tasted slightly chewy and al dente, but I liked the taste. It will taste bland without any seasoning, so I would suggest using some kind of sauce to enhance the flavor. Otherwise, it is a good meal when you need to cook something quickly.

Easy to use
I love using this for a quick lunch, you just throw them in the microwave and it’s done with. I’ll be honest I love rice so this does not compare to rice in my opinion however it’s not bad and it can be used as a substitute bottom line. I would recommend if you’re looking for an alternative to rice.

This is just a goo
This does not have the taste or texture of konjac rice. And it has 8x as many calories and carbs.(Notice this review is the only one that wasn’t a free product from vine).I ordered this because it was one of the few that could be on a subscription plan but it is not edible. It comes out as a brownish slime and does not improve with cooking. The only way to make this passable as rice is to use it in a soup and even then it would just mimic overcooked exploded rice pieces. And with the number of carbs it does NOT fit into a keto or low carb diet so isn’t worth suffering through for the low nutrition. There are significantly better products out there.I added a photo of the usual product we purchase and a photo of this product together so you can see the difference.Save tour money and purchase a different brand.

Great product for nice price!
I didn't know exactly what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I have some sugar sensitivities, so I am always looking for low sugar alternatives for the foods I love. Rice is on that list. So, when I saw that this is lower carbs that rice, I ordered. These are great as 1-2 serving packets. They are easy to cook, just throw the rice in the microwave and it's all ready to go! It tastes just like rice, the big difference is that the texture is just a little different, but it's not a huge difference, especially if eating with Indian or stir fry! Overall, glad I found this product! I can feel guilt free eating rice again!

A bit sticky with a chewy, noodle-like texture
I use to think that plain rice didn’t have much of a flavor but I am wrong. Rice has a great flavor that I miss because I have to cut back on my carbs. Substitutes such as this Konjac rice merely imitate the small size and shape of the rice and doesn’t try to have the same texture or taste of rice. That being said, this rice truly has no flavor and takes on the flavors of foods that are mixed with it. That is the key, you can’t eat this type of rice plain, it’s much better with sauces from other flavorful foods.

It's ok, would rather just make rice
There is no instructions in English. Big problem for me. After not seeing anything, I noticed they had English instructions on the listing and I am left wondering why they did not ship it with this. I am not a fan of the consistency/sliminess of it following their instructions. I don't really see a point of going this route when rice is very easy/cheap/fast to make and I don't think this adds much to rice when mixed. It is true this is much lower calories than rice, but I am of the belief a diet is only as good as your ability to stick to it, and I don't think a rice like paste is going to help to that end. I am only giving it an extra star because it is edible, it is low calories as claimed, and is as reasonably good as you can expect something 1/4 the calories of rice to be.

Slimy, yet satisfying ...
This "rice" style product is actually pretty filling for such a low calorie food. It's got pretty much no real discernable flavor, but it is a little bit soggy/slimy compared to the texture of actual rice. It absorbs flavors very nicely and I do suggest using your spices or sauces appropriately to flavor this as a big heap of no flavor still isn't a taste that's very pleasant. It pairs well with anything you would normally eat with rice, especially saucy Asian dishes, but it was really delightful in a nice gumbo we made as well. A great way to lower some caloric intake with a small and sustainable type of change as you ease into better eating and healthful habits. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for low calorie swaps. I like this style much better than the noodle varieties as it just eats better.

Needs Doctoring Up
Nice lower carb rice option but definitely needs doctoring up.Thankfully, it has a pretty neutral flavor so you can really dress is up to your flavor preferences.I definitely recommend a skillet reheat vs the microwave... in the skillet it really helps with the texture that this has and it improves it greatly.Compared to other lower carb rice options out there this is a bit higher priced compared to cauliflower and palmini options.I can't say I would order again but I would recommend if you're looking a rice sub
