These are quite handy little cups. I got them to take small side dishes of food with me to work. I have bought similar containers before, but they have all been small, like suitable for only about 2 tablespoons worth of sour cream or salsa. I wanted something larger to put in small servings of applesauce, fruit, or jello. These are perfectly sized for that purpose. You can fit a little more than ½ cup of fruit, pudding, or applesauce in them. They are the perfect single serving size to put in a lunch box or on a lunch tray.They come with lids that are reasonably sturdy and hold well. The lids snap on easily and completely. I didn’t have any problems with leakage. To test it out, I put applesauce in one container, put the lid on, and turned it upside down, and left it there for about 15 minutes, and nothing leaked. I am not sure how it would hold up if it was jostled around a lot, but at least for normal use, the containers seem pretty sturdy. They are also easily stackable, so you could make a whole bunch of jello cups in one evening, and keep them stacked in the fridge, ready to use. My one beef with this product is that the cups come in very flimsy plastic sleeves. The sleeves are not re-closeable and they rip very easily. It would be extremely easy for the entire sleeve of cups or lids to spill all over the place, if you aren’t careful. Overall, though, these cups are sturdy, the lids fit tightly, and they don’t leak, even when turned upside down. These are perfect containers to enhance my lunches.

This review is for 5.5 oz cups, or in normal units 162ml.Using these in my classroom for various purposes, sample sizes of cereal for doing statistics, containers for marbles for physics labs. They are a nice size and the lids stay on well. These are bigger than the small condiment sized cups you often see, but not as large as a regular cup which is a nice amount.The lids will pop off if you squeeze the sides too hard and they are full, but if you are decently careful they do well even for lunchboxes.

Portion cups are a great addition to any meal prep plan, salad topping, salsa, nuts, small snacks.. Very easy to stay within a portion controlled mindset. These make packing my lunch a breeze. I can pre-plan and prep all my ingredients separately as needed to grab and go. This are constructed well and I would recommend them.
