the clamps work but they are kinda weak good for temp fix till i find some sturdier ones

First time tightening, the tangs came together and bottomed out before the terminal was tight on the battery post.

I recently tried out these battery terminal replacement sets, and I have mixed feelings about them. While it did get the job done, the quality was somewhat subpar and not as robust as I expected. The set includes all the necessary parts, and the instructions are clear enough, but I'm not confident it will last long-term. However, for the price, it's a decent value. It could be worth considering if you need a quick fix and are on a budget. Just be aware that the quality may not be top-notch.

Bargain Price for two pairs of High Quality top post vehicle battery connectorsI am very old and began working on cars way back in the 1960s. All the vehicle batteries were top post with huge, heavy, and thick lead connectors. If you got really fancy you would use brass Marine Grade connectors. When I first encountered this type of very thin metal vehicle battery connectors I was quite skeptical that they could carry enough current in the wintertime. However, my big modern trucks use group 65 1000CCA batteries with these new fangled type clamps and they start in the coldest winter. So I suppose somehow there is enough surface area for the current to flow.

Don't waste your money on these. If you look close at the pictures, you'll see that these are hollow and have very little connection to the battery. Would they work on something small, like a golf cart or quad, yeah probably. However, I wouldn't trust these on my daily driver.Cheap, flimsy, and little connection. Keep looking.

Not enough conduct surface on the post to be an effective terminal.

Excellent quality complete set of two at a reasonable price point. Just used a set on our Nissan after bad battery was replaced and terminals were pretty corroded from the old battery. Really like the fact that I still have a second set for use again on this vehicle or another with this type of battery terminal. The felt battery terminal protectors included are also a nice bonus.

We have older vehicles an these are handy to have on hand for replacements. These seem to be very good quality and are exactly as described. I think these are a great value for what you get. I do recommend them.
