I'm a guy in his mid 50's who is very picky when it comes to clothing and go out of my way to wear quality regardless of price. I was always taught to buy quality over quantity so when I needed some pants to wear in the warmer weather, I took a friend's recommendation and ordered a pair of Birddogs. I was skeptical because I usually prefer cotton based fabrics that don't stretch but I must say these took me by surprise. The fabric has a good feel to it and yes, it stretches when you need it too. This makes wearing them almost feel like you're going to work in sweatpants, which to me is a foreign feeling. They are superb hot weather pants due to their lightweight fabric and the greatest thing in my book are the zippered hip pockets that sit just behind the front pockets. You can fit your wallet in one and cell phone in the other and not walk around with bulging front pockets. The items in the hip pockets disappear somewhere between your front and back pockets. if you are a larger man with extra weight in his legs you may not appreciate the cut as they are slim fitting and they have more of a taper than men of a certain age may be accustomed to but if you have the legs for these, go for it. You'll also love having no hesitation to toss them in the washer and tumble them dry on low, pull them out and you're ready to go again. I now have them in two colors and they have become my go to summer pants.

Ordered for my husband and these are now his favorite pants ! They have amazing stretch and are extremely comfortable . Really great for an athletic build . Will be ordering more colors for my husband !

When I came across these pants and read the line "looks like khakis, feels like sweats" I had to give them a try. When the pants arrived the first thing I noticed when taking them out of the bag was that they felt stiffer than I was expecting. The definitely feel like normal khakis which is not a bad thing, just not what I was expecting. When I tried them on the pants fit great and the cut has a nice taper, but isn't so much that I feel like I am wearing skinny pants. I love the amount of pockets these pants have and the fact that they have some stretch to them. They are very comfortable to wear, but even after a few washes they still feel a bit stiff and definitely do not "feel like sweats". Overall I really like the fit of these pants, but feel they do not quite meet their tagline and that the price is at such a premium that the value for money isn't as high as it should be.

These pants are the best I have ever owned! The fit is just as described.

I bought comparative pair, one from Birddogs and one from Lululemon. Both are fine, Lululemon has a better fit and finish. Birddogs waist sizes are off. I fit a 34" on all slacks I buy, including Lululemon. Had to exchange Birddogs 34 to 36, and it fits. The flex-stretch in Lulu is more supple, too. Good advertising by Birddogs.com persuaded me to try, but next pair I'd buy from Lululemon. $10 price difference is not a value.

Birddogs reach out to us and wanted to make things right after our initial experience.I compliment Birddogs for their Customer focus and standing behind their product.I hope the previous experience was a one off, and the quality of the replacement pants is up to standard.Tried the pants on, they fit. took them off and hung them up. The first time I went to wear them I noticed the left, female portion of the snap was still in the snapped position having completely broken off from the waist band. Unfortunately, it was past the return window. Not what one would expect for a $118 pair of pants.

This was my first pair of birddog pants and I am very happy with the product. The pants feel very durable and high quality. Beyond the quality there is a great fit to the pants.

These are my new favorite pairs of pants! The pants are very comfortable and I would 100% recommend them to my friends and colleagues. Will definitely be buying again!
